Thank god Amarillo got an Express for men! The men’s clothing selection in this town is pretty dismal if you don’t want to wear Ambercrombie and Fitch or surfer wannabe clothes from Hollister or American Eagle. Plus I am a skinny guy and the clothes actually fit me. Sure the regular prices are WAY overpriced but hit the sales and it’s not uncommon for that 80 dollar jacket to be 20 bucks. Great selection of dress shirts that fit a guy with a smaller frame. Staff is friendly and helpful 9 times out of 10. Again, hit the sales, don’t ever pay full price.

I love this place. If I had the money, I would dress head to toe in Express clothing. But I don’t, so I mix Target’s fine line of Express knock-offs with the super-sweet shit you can find here at the end-of-season sales(waves of fear that I’ve just blown up my spot and divulged a well-kept secret…) If you look real hard, you can find cool shit for about a third of the price whenever they go into«clearance sale» mode. I picked up three hoodies for twenty bucks a pop, instead of the sixty dollar sticker price. And they unload their indecipherable, yet really cool looking t-shirts for $ 10-$ 15. Sweet. They also have really nice dress pants in a variety of cuts — some meant to be worn traditional style above the waist, and others with a more modern cut meant to be worn lower. In either case, they fit fantastically and are well worth the price. All in all, out of all the tried-and-true mall staples, Express has the classiest fashion sense. Sure, you can find cargo shorts and polos, but it doesn’t feel like a hang-out for a bunch of frat fucks who think they wanna live in California. It’s got formal and casual apparel for people with taste. Which means that anyone shopping at Hollister, Abercrombie or American Eagle is a complete fucking dumb-ass and should be ridiculed accordingly.

I don’t know if Express makes a lot of clothing that would suit those«more buxom» locals. This store is great, though. It’s a chain, sure, but you’ve basically got this place and a bunch of other department/chain stores if you don’t want to shop at Wal-Mart. There really aren’t many boutique stores around here, and certainly none with anything youthful or fashionable. Maybe you can find something at one of the few vintage shops, if you’re very lucky. Nonetheless, I will profess my eternal and undying love for Express because they’re the only place I can ever find Size 6 Short. God bless their amazing pants and jeans! Now, if only the quality of the products didn’t seem to be slipping in comparison to the prices lately, I could give it another star. And honestly, if this keeps up… that coupled with the ever-worsening and inattentive-to-the-point-of-absent staff at this location will force me to dock it down to three stars. I know you can do better, Express, because you used to…

All hail Express. Thankfully a store with some more youthful fashions that decently in style. The only thing that is the problem is that express only goes up to a size 12 and I’d say the average woman here in Amarillo is a bit more buxom. Still, it’s nice to be able to get some trendy(albeit at times slutty) clothes.
