Best in town. They usually always have what I’m looking for, unless sometimes when it’s a specific microbrew, but I’ve always found them to be the cheapest in town. Sizable wine selection as well. I like the staff here too, always friendly and helpful if you need them.

For this region, and even more specifically this city, M&R Liquor is the best place to go. This place even stacks up against some places in other mega metroplexes, not necessarily because of quantity of selection(as mentioned before) but price rather. Great staff who are always willing to help out and answer questions. Also, they recently expanded to be able to fit a wider selection of beer, spirits and wines. When you can buy a bottle of Crown XR for $ 110, and have a helping hand at all times, you know you have a great place to buy. It’s a great place to shop for your alcohol, great quality for a great price.

Coming from the land of Dallas’ liquor stores and their near infinite selection, I’ve come to hold high standards when it comes to liquor stores. For being Amarillo, M & R Liquor is entirely satisfactory; it has a decent(but not mind blowing) selection and the prices are generally good. Ultimately, I feel like their wine selection could be more extensive and that they could have more variety in their hard liquors but in the end, this well known liquor store functions fine… for Amarillo standards…

Best liquor store in town. I usually shop Liquor City because it’s WAY closer to my house, but this place is the best. You can get everything from a $ 10 bottle of Georgia Moon corn moonshine whiskey to a $ 1200 bottle of Louis XVI cognac. The staff is nice, and they have a better wine selection, even though it’s smaller than Pinkie’s. Pinkie’s stocks a lot of crap, and M&R gives quality instead of quantity.
