Toot’n Totum

This is the first time I’ve ever left a review for a gas station/​convenience store. We were leaving Amarillo for our drive home (God, have mercy on our souls) and we needed to top off the gas tank.
I just filled the tank while my wife took the kids in to use the bathroom. I actually noticed — this might be the cleanest/​newest/​nicest gas pump I’ve ever used. I often get irritated at gas pumps when the equipment doesn’t work properly or I have to go in and pay because the machine doesn’t like my debit card. This was a nice experience… But I didn’t think much more about it.
Then my family got back in the car and my wife exclaimed, «that’s the nicest gas station I’ve been in.» People were friendly. It was clean. The layout was nice.
We have a 3 year old, so we usually cringe at gas station bathrooms… Wondering what disease she’s going to get from touching the sink, the toilet or the floor.
This place is nice. Will stop here for gas next time we have to stop through Amarillo (May God have mercy on our souls)!
