Went for lunch with my wife. We had a great time. The burger was cooked just how we asked and it was excellent. Very nice people. Small hole-in-the-wall place and is comfortable. Will certainly go back!

I can really only describe the Feedstore as a gourmet greasy spoon. There’s nothing I have to offer here that other reviewers haven’t already said. But for me the highlights are their mexirella sticks(deep fried queso blanco) and the dirty bird(chicken marinated in lemon and thyme, breaded and fried, served as a sandwich with bacon and black pepper cream gravy). I only allow myself to eat here once a week, for obvious reasons.

They need to have paper towels instead of paper napkins because these burgers are a fantastic, hot mess! I had the Feedburger and it was terrific. Cheese, onions, feedstore sauce, bacon… YUUUUUMMY. The burger came with fries that were also equally as YUUUUUUUMMMY. We started our meal with fried pickles. I liked the fact that they cut the pickles into circles and battered and fried them individually. Their feedsauce that accompanied the fried pickles was a perfect combination. Although the price is higher than more burger joints, this place is worth it. If you want a great burger, this is the place to come!

Hey, you! Yeah, you! The one looking for somewhere to eat! You’re hungry, right? Not sure where to go exactly? Perhaps you’re hungry for a burger? Who am I kidding, of course you are! Well, look no further than ‘The Feed Store’. If you want a unique, one-of-a-kind burger/sandwich guaranteed to be delicious, this is the place for you. I’ve had plenty – from the Munnyburger with fig jam to the ‘MacRib’ with shredded short-rib and roasted garlic ketchup, both of which blew me away. Can’t wait for your burger, you’re hungry now? Start off with their delicious fried pickles with a side of their very own ‘Feed Sauce’. But you’re not done yet, are you? Because you can even upgrade your regular hand-cut fries or homemade mac and cheese to a deluxe version such as their Sweet Pork Poutine with sweet apple pork gravy or the ‘Abbot’ fries, with kimchi and sriracha. Too spicy for you? Not to worry, wash it down with some made from scratch lemonade. Ready for the check? Nuh uh! Because there’s ice cream cookie sandwiches and milkshakes waiting for you. As if this weren’t enough already, you don’t wanna get me started on their Sunday Brunch! I’d come here every Sunday if I could. One word. Sausage gravy. Okay, that was two, but you get my point. Put that stuff on everything! On a waffle, on home fries, on a spoon, on a fist, on a boot – it makes everything better. If none of this can settle your hunger, be sure to ask about their Pig Out challenge(I’m still training for it!) The staff is super nice and always recommend tasty choices, the music is on point, the décor is cute and retro with lots of pig pictures on the wall. You can even make your own to hang up! If you haven’t been here already, what are you waiting for? GO!

This is the second time I ate from here. The first time was right after they opened and I didn’t write a review because I really didn’t enjoy it. The portions were small and the fries weren’t that great. So tonight I ordered take out. They told me 15 minutes and it was ready in 15 minutes. I had the Feedburger and upgraded to the loaded fries. Everything was awesome! The portion of fries was much bigger than before and the burger seemed bigger. I’m really glad I gave it another chance.

The Loubin was very good. Nice and juicy. The Greek fries were zesty and not greasy. Got there before the lunch rush. Service was very friendly and fast. Would definitely go back if in the area again.

Great food and service. The food came out quickly and hot. I suggest the carnitas fries, and barbaqueban! The atmosphere is nothing special but that’s fine because the food is so good.

Finally checked this place out! The food here rocks! Went for an early dinner and had the fried pickles as a starter followed by the feed burger. The fried pickles were deliciously crispy and the sauce that’s served with them is also pretty awesome. The feed burger was also tasty and full of flavor with melty cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions. My friend had the munnyburger, which they also enjoyed, as well. The menu is full of unique items and interesting specials. I’ll definitely be coming back again. The staff is friendly and attentive. 5 stars for the Feedstore!

Everything was excellent. Unique dishes all well seasoned and full of flavor. The munny burger was excellent. The piggy Mac and cheese was good, although their BBQ fries were better. My friend loved her flatbread. Decently busy for a summer weeknight but the service was friendly.

Very good experience. Sweet Pork Poutine for an app. Mt Ambler Burger and Chipolte Ranch salads for our meals. Kitchen got the food out quick and correct. Better half enjoyed her salad. Burger was excellent. Menu has some interesting combinations that I’ll likely try in future visits. As you can tell by the menu, this place could wreck your diet. Varied crowd from families to couples to a table full of retirees with 6-packs in hand(BYO). Place has a very laid back vibe. Is it a little pricey for burgers, sandwiches and fries — Sure. We feel the quality warrants it. If thats your gripe there’s a McD’s 4 blocks away

My wife and I found ourselves hungry and outside of our area when we tried the Feedstore on a whim sixth months ago. Since then we have made it a point to bring everyone we know and love on our pilgrimage to this place that has grown to be a true favorite. Tonight we took my brother and his girlfriend on a double date for their first time and we had an amazing time. I was so full of joy and pulled pork I decided to finally make a Unilocal account to express these emotions. Smoky the Pig is our absolute go-to on the menu; the buns are fresh, the pork is done well and the cappuccino barbecue sauce is just sweet enough. My wife and I unapologetically talked the other two members of our party into getting it with us. Nobody left disappointed or hungry. The atmosphere is simple and casual, but it’s just what you’d want from a barbecue/pig-out spot. However we always find ourselves surprised that we’ve never really seen it crowded. Well, much of Ambler must be missing out. I can only imagine(and hope) that it is just a matter of time before this place catches on like wildfire.

Today we went to celebrate a birthday and farewell and we still love it here!!! Got the pork rolls, delicious. I opted for $ 2 tacos today, so delicious and filling. I topped it off by bringing home ½ an ice cream sandwich(sugar cookie with birthday cake ice cream)! Amaze balls. I absolutely love it here. I got their watermelon lemonade today too. Yummy!!! Its expensive but it’s so worth it.

My philly pretzel burger was awesome, it helps that it was smothered in beer cheese. This is not a place for the calorie conscious, but who’s counting?

This place is LEGIT! My coworkers and I went here for lunch today and walked away full and happy. On Tuesdays they have $ 2 tacos. I had the chicken and veggie taco and it was so flavorful! The Short & Sweet flatbread is also delicious. And the mac & cheese balls were great too. Nice, quaint little place. Sucks there’s no real parking but the food is totally worth it. The owner is super nice. We got there around 11:45 for lunch and were the only ones in there. I really loved this place and will definitely be back!

If you like really creative, thoughtfully constructed, flavorful burgers, sandwiches and sides this place is a great choice. My company just ordered lunch from here and everyone loved what they ordered. The pork and beef is clean and delicious tasting. Beware though, the fries are so damn good everyone had to wait to eat their sandwiches cause we all sat and stuffed ourselves with fries first. As far as the actual food — it is fresh and tasty. Outside appearance, I assumed it was a restaurant because I knew there used to be a food place there… But most people think it looks like an animal feed store. It is not. It is human feed. Go feed yourself there. I want this place to last. When I went it to pick up our food there were no other patrons but it was only 11:30am. This would make a great lunch spot for people with kids — esp over the summer. Its small but super casual. Their menu online doesn’t currently say they serve ice cream/milkshakes/ice cream sandwiches but they do! Call ahead to find out flavors or just show up and chow down.

Really unique flavor combinations. Definitely a fan. Munnyburger includes carmelized onions and fig jam; incredibly good. The buffalo mac and cheese had blue cheese crumbles, and it was killer. Only downside is that finding parking is a bit of a pain. But the food is well worth the hunt!

When you are looking for a great, homemade hamburger with fries, the Ambler Feedstore is IT. I was tired of eating hamburgers from the drive thru’s and decided to go to the Feedstore. I’m glad I did. I ordered the signature Feed burger with bacon, grilled onions, tomato, and Feed sauce. The meat was fresh, and, I believe, made from grass-fed beef. The burger was dripping with flavor. The burger dripped with every bite. Ambler Feedstore is the definition of «a joint.» Ambler is a better place with its addition.

This place is amazing. I’ve been here for Sunday brunch as well as dinner. Not one bad thing to say about either experience. The food was amazing. Ambler is lucky to have this place! If you haven’t tried it out yet GO! You will not be disappointed.

The Feedstore sits in a small one story building along Butler Ave in Ambler right across the street from the Ambler Beverage Exchange. The interior has been updated and has a very nice warm feel. The layout is still basically the same as it was when this building was Zina’s Café and Ambler Grill. As you walk in the open air kitchen is on the left and there is a counter along the front of the restaurant. Several booths line two walls and there are several black tables in the center of the dining area. I was with(3) friends and we were told we could pick our seats as we entered. At first we grabbed a booth but soon moved to one of the tables. We fit in the booth but it was a bit tight. Our waitress took our drink orders and let us know that they had(1) beer available for FREE! After quickly drinking an unsweetened ice tea I switched to beer. It was a Pilot Rock Porter from Caldera Brewing in Oregon. This beer was very smooth and flavorful. The daily special was a house made Pastrami sandwich. For an appetizer we agreed on the Carnitas Fries $ 9: Fresh Cut Fries topped with smoked pulled pork, pico de gallo, cheddar jack cheese & chipolte sour cream. The pork was tender & I really enjoyed the chipolte sour cream. For dinner we ordered(3) Feed Burgers $ 12 and(1) Burger Flight $ 15. The Feed Burger comes with bacon, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, cheddar cheese and Feed Sauce on a seeded Brioche bun. The Feed Sauce is made with mayo /horseradish I believe. Two burgers came out together and then a few minutes later the other burger and burger flight arrived. It would have been nice if everything came out together but they just opened so i’m sure they will correct it. I really enjoyed my burger. The roll was fantastic and the fresh made burger patty was juicy and full of flavor. The fries & burger are tied for the best in the area with the Hungry Bear Café. My friend said he enjoyed his burger flight but would have rather ordered a single burger. When he asked our server about the portion size of the flight she said it was slightly more than(1) burger but it actually looked like it was a bit less. They do have another burger flight for $ 25 dollars that includes(6) burgers. We were discussing the pricing and a few people in my group said it was a bit high. KC’s Alley prices their burger at $ 9.50 and Phil’s Tavern is $ 9.45. So the Feedstore is $ 2.50 more but I think they grind all of their meat fresh in house. If this is the case I think the extra $$ is worth it. Overall I really enjoyed my meal and I will certainly be back. I’m more of a traditionalist when it comes to burgers so I don’t like anything fancy on my burgers. I do love a fried egg but that’s about as crazy as I get. A lot of the burgers at the Feedstore have jam, peanut butter etc… on them. I’m not saying this is a bad thing but its just not for me. I love ketchup and I don’t think it mixes well with a lot of their burger toppings. While devouring our meal I heard the owner say they would be opening for brunch /breakfast in two weeks. I don’t have any other details on that right now. *Update* They have started brunch on Sundays but I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. I did try one of the daily specials that was more of a breakfast sandwich. It was corn beef hash, fresh ground sausage patty, fried egg, garlic ketchup. I wish they would add it to the menu because it was awesome. After trying the Feedstore about(5) times now I have added another star to my review. They do indeed have the best burgers in the area.
