Their cannoli: TO DIE FOR. this is a true Italian bakery and a hidden gem in Ambler on Butler. Go today and order the cannoli, freshly filled before your eyes, the coconut ball, the Dark Side of the Moon, they’re all great. I can’t speak highly enough of the cannoli though; did I mention how good the cannoli was?

Got the latte here after she advised me that the macchiato was not like what I was thinking. She was right and it was delicious. Made me feel like I was in Italy all over again– and she was the real Italian deal! I would come back!

I was happy and impressed with the food, coffee and service at Caffe Maida. I brought 2 friends/business colleagues there on a busy Friday evening, namely a «First Friday» in Ambler. The espresso was great. The homemade gelato was wonderful, and the sfogliatelli (sfo-lya-TELL-ee) was great. The place is run by Italians, and the two young people who served us were very charming. I’ll be back.
To those not familiar with Italian food, please do try a sfogliatelli with a strong cup of coffee. You’ll love it.

Such a wonderful place! Excellent coffee, gelato, and sorbetto in one of my favorite neighborhoods in the area. My favorite aspect of Caffe Maida, though, is the kind, welcoming staff. Please visit this caffe!
