Raw milk can cause tuberculosis and other illnesses. Federal law prohibits the selling of raw milk across state lines. Virginia law prohibits the retail sale of raw milk.
The family that runs this farm skirts the law by selling shares of the cow itself. They claim to be a Christian family, however, they appear to have forgotten Romans 13. This Scripture requires us to respect and obey our leaders. Finding ways around a law is not obeying our leaders.
It is not Christian to pick and choose the Scripture you follow.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this family run farm that raises pigs, chickens and cows on organic pasture. They also do a cow share program where you can buy into their herd of Jerseys and get fresh, unprocessed milk. You just pay a one time fee for the share in the cow/​herd and then a monthly fee for boarding and feed. It’s a wonderful system, since they have many different local delivery sites. They also do farm tours regularly and welcome questions about their farming practices. A truly transparent model of food supply that you just can’t find anywhere else, IMO. I am so grateful to be local to this wonderful family and to be able to patronize their wonderful agricultural enterprise.
