Great experience all around. Our villa (Captains Court 1012) was beautiful, perfect for a family of 5, and overlooked the ocean. Location was close to the main hotel so we were able to take advantage of the heated pools, fire pits, hot tubs and other amenities. Beachfront is gorgeous and very long.
Staff is great — always friendly and very helpful.
Only gripe is that the wifi was very spotty and sometimes hard to connect to in the common areas, and the wifi in our unit didn’t work at all. This wouldn’t be a big deal, except the 3G /​LTE connection isn’t that strong in the area either.
Still, a wonderful vacation in a beautiful place with great and friendly staff.

Just got back from Amelia Island. Stayed at the Sandcastles Villas, unit 315. at Amelia Island Plantation.
OMG. Ocean front, sleek and elegant. We didn’t want to leave. Ate breakfast, lunch and dinner on the terraces overlooking the Atlantic. The Heated pool was great too.
