Higher prices, less in stock items. Terrible service. There’s a lot to be said for small neighborhood grocery stores. When I go to the grocery store I want food not clothing and housewares. Not worth hiking a mile for milk and a loaf of bread.

Okay, so it’s a Kroger store. If you live in the Cincinnati area and you have never heard of Kroger, well then I can’t help you. But for the rest of you I’ll do what I can. This particular Kroger is located on route 125, which is also called Ohio Pike… which is also called Beechmont Avenue. Anyway this store is located between Amelia and Bethel townships. I was taking one of my daughter’s to a birthday party in this direction and decided to hit this store to do a little grocery shopping on the way back to the house. Just like any other Kroger this one pretty much has everything that you need and would want to find in a grocery. Although the format in this particular store is a bit screwy and comes across as being very haphazard. Not going to lie, I got a bit turned around and sorta-kinda lost while in here. That’s embarrassing to admit. Anyway, if you can get past the odd layout, then this store gives you what you need. Oh, added bonus. When I was going through the line, the cashier asked for my Kroger Card. Told her I didn’t have one. So she immediately takes one out, scans it and saves me twelve bucks! Now that’s what I call service. Mahalo, and enjoy.
