Visited during our trip to Americus frim Atlanta. Awesome coffee, great staff, and keen sense of supporting fair trade coffee coops from around the world. They have a roasting facility on site so you know the roast is fresh. The décor inside is eclectic and fun with areas for study, meet-ups, and conversation.

Great atmosphere, great coffee! I’ve been ordering green beans from this place for roasting my own, for a few years. Then, I recently took a drive to Americus and visited their store. The girl behind the counter was hard of hearing and I had to speak slowly and loudly, but otherwise it’s a great place to have coffee while I did some work on the laptop.

Like its sister café in Atlanta, the Americus café is a great place to curl up whether you’re visiting, as I was, or a resident. Warm staff are very responsive. Tasty — if limited — menu goes well with their fantastic coffee. Plus, they are fully committed to Fair Trade, so they will answer any questions that you have about how they work with farmers and their practices. Good discounts if you bring your own mug. One of the coolest parts is that the café is in front of the roastery itself, so you can smell the delicious brews as they are prepared. They said that they sometimes do roastery tours, too, which should be cool to see. They also host concerts and events throughout the summer, they said. Parking might be a challenge in the tiny parking lot in front and/or on the street, but it’s not far from the main parts of town. Across from Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village.
