Went there for breakfast and had 2 scrambled eggs done John Henry style(scrambled eggs with pepperoni) bacon, hash browns white toast and a cup of coffee! I asked for hot sauce and the waitress asked «Would you like Tabasco or our house sauce?» I said bring both, I was curious to taste this in home made hot sauce and OHMYGOD!!! Was amazing with my breakfast, gave it that extra humph! Sat by the window and being from a not so small town I absolutely love seeing old structures such as the Theater right across the street and water towers. I’ve only seen this reproduced in Orlando, Fl in Universal Studios and it’s not the same. The art inside the place is very cool and unique as well. Been to this place a couple times now and have not been disappointed. I hope to keep coming back and enjoying this for as long as they stay open.

While out house hunting, we stopped by Ida Mae’s for breakfast. I was hoping for a quaint little small-town type atmosphere, and Ida Mae’s delivered. I ordered the basic Americana style breakfast — eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and a pancake. First — I have no idea how you take such static ingredients and make them taste better than I’ve had anywhere else, but. they accomplished it. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hashbrowns were delicious. and the bacon was thick and amazing. And, the caramel roll is absolutely incredible. We found a house in Amery and I’m super excited for Sunday breakfast at Ida Mae’s!

Great food. Good prices. Very friendly. Daily specials are a good value. Don’t forget to get some freshly baked muffins to take home.

This was a great local café where we enjoyed a delicious home-cooked breakfast. People were very friendly and the portion sizes were generous! My sister and I read some nice reviews online and decided to try Ida Mae’s in the middle of a road trip throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. The entire place was cozy and cute with it being named after the owner’s first milking goat(with its own FB page). Plus it leaves a nice impression when almost all of the employees(manager and kitchen staff included) stop and say«good morning girls» as they’re walking by! We each had a standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns. Everything was fresh and tasty!
