I got a teapot from here. I’m not sure how to go about reviewing a thrift/antique store. I mean, I like the name. It’s clever and catchy. So, yeah… this place might be piled high with one man’s junk(or, as the case actually ends up being, many mens’ junk), but it might be your treasure. That’s the joke, isn’t it? One man’s junk is another’s treasure. Man, that’s just good marketing. Anyhow, I liked this place. It was relatively small, but it was cute. The owner put out coffee and hot cider, which was nice. I notice that a lot of midwest antique shops seem to do that. They don’t in California. Maybe because rent is high enough out here without having to try and refresh weary antiquers. Whatever the case, I think it’s swell. And yes, I got a teapot from here. I was throwing a tea party for 17 people in Michigan, and I was short some tea equipment so finding a usable teapot here was a miracle. They’re harder to find than you might think. This place, for instance, only had one. It was only 8 dollars, though, so that more than made up for the lack of options. Also, and this is mostly something that only someone like me would care about, I thought the price tag was cute. It was old fashioned and hand written, and I actually kept it for my memory tin. Yes, I have a memory tin. I put movie tickets and business cards in it. You don’t have to tell me that’s cool; I know it’s cool. Pretend I ended this review really well. Thanks.
