I’ve eaten here numerous times because it’s right on campus, and it’s a nice mix up to dining center food.
The service is very mediocre; they are impolite and rush you. You feel pressured to order quickly and avoid special requests and additions. I never feel comfortable asking questions about menu options.
Also, there are very limited options for cheese, which I find makes or breaks a sub. My personal favorite, Swiss, has never been there. This is always a little disappointing but not the reason for the one star review.
Even though the fast food is subpar, the service is too terrible to deserve anything better than a one star. I wouldn’t ever make a trip here unless you have a meal plan and need something to spend your university dining dollars on. Even then, I much prefer the Panda Express next door.
Finally, don’t expect to see consistency (a term that should be the staple to any fast foot restaurant). Sub lengths seem to always vary; this is one of those restaurants where you feel like you’re always getting shafted on portion size. A six inch will usually turn out to be shorter than expected. A footlong order is probably much safer.
