Briggs Mill

I do not recommend living in this facility. Management is unresponsive it’s extremely noisy and security in the building is laxed. Additionally they do not support their tenants in any way. This is based on my experience there.
On my third night in the apartment someone on the second floor broke a sprinkler head in the early early morning causing many of the apartments on the lower floor to flood including mine. My new California King and all my cloths were destroyed or had to be drycleaned.
When my insurance company asked management for details on the unit where the sprinkler broke, they would not give them information. This resulted in losing a 2 year old 2,500 $ bed and most of my clothes. As well as my deductible. Additionally, I was not reimbursed or provided another until while the agency that cleaned the damages were there. Week of loud dehumidifiers in the hall, my apartment and from next door. They did not feel I needed another unit or reimbursement for staying somewhere else. This is not quality customer service.
Noise. I lived on the lower floor so it may be different upstairs, however all floors are heated rock and you can hear whoever is in the hall or doing anything upstairs at all amplified due to the smooth stone and walls. Woman in heels in the hall, you get the full sound experience. You always hear everything. When asked about the issue, nothing was done. It was impossible to sleep. They said a sound engineer was going to be brought in, but they never were in my place and my fellow renters didn’t see anything either.
Security. The doors to the building are often propped open completely removing the need for the fob system. This alone made me feel very unsure in the facility.
Finally, when I pulled up the lease agreement and showed specifically where they were in breach letting them know I had to move out due to lack of sleep, security and a continuous water smell from the flood, they told me they were not at fault and would not return my security deposit.
Now, the people are very friendly at the agency at Riverwalk, but who ever makes the calls on keeping tenets happy is not up to my standards. Other renters left as well.
All this may be acceptable to you, and if it is great, they are in a good location. But from my perspective I was lied to, robbed and provided an apartment I considered unsuitable for living.
