Where do I begin? Dropped off lawn mower for a tune up. It took 2 months. The mower brought to us was not ours. It was a cheaper version. After saying nope, that’s not our mower the guy replies, «what do you want me to do about it.» Well, you can start by getting me my mower. He admitted he may have tagged the wrong one but he had not had any other complaints. Maybe because the person who picked up ours was happy to get a free upgrade. After countless«what do you want me to do about its» he said we can take the mower for free. We did. Got home– nothing was done to the mower that isn’t ours to begin with. Official rating – zero.zero

This place sure won’t win any awards for showroom presentation, it’s a shambles in there but hey, something about these places attract me. Customer service is a bit on the crude side. A bit salty but once you start talking they open up a little and they know their stuff. I have given(who I assume to be the owner) some pretty crude descriptions on parts I need and he’s nailed it every time. Plus he carries Simplicity and I love Simplicity. I haven’t actually had anything worked on there except for a pull cord replaced on a couple occasions. I may bring my snowblower in for a tune up in the spring, it’s out of adjustment everywhere and i’m lazy. I’ll report back if I do.

I left my chainsaw to be tuned-up by Merrows, and they said it would be ready in 2 to 2 ½ weeks. It was not ready for 31 days and cost $ 91 for, essentially, changing the spark plug. About $ 106 an hour. Not going there again!
