Anytime Fitness

Their website, as well as an ad they’ve placed on this very Unilocal listing, advertises a «14 day trial pass». After requesting this pass, I got an email containing a «14-​day trial pass» with the address and phone number for this particular location, but upon trying to use it I was told that this particular location doesn’t honor the offer.
Note that the offer is being made on this location’s Unilocal profile as a «Yelp Exclusive» and the pass that I was emailed by Anytime Fitness has the address and phone number for this location.
Shady bait-​and-​switch, tells me all I need to know about the way this gym does business. I will not consider entering into a long-​term contract with this business if this is how they act right off the bat. There is no shortage of other gyms in the area for people who expect a business to demonstrate basic ethics.

This is one of the nicest facilities around. I have been a member for about a year and cant imagine myself going anywhere else. The staff is very helpful and the gym is kept in top notch condition. It is always clean and ready for use.

I joined a couple of months back after my previous gym switched ownership. Everything is brand spankin new, so upkeep isnt an issue. No rusty bars or peeling floors like some of the spots in town.
There’s a great selection of cardio machines (with tvs) and plenty of free-​weights. They even have a room with a rope climb and a kick-​boxing machine.
There’s also a cooler with drinks/​protein etc. that you can take out on the honor system (they charge your card later) which is a nice little perk when you run out the door without your own. They also have headphones to purchase for $ 4 if you forget a pair.
The only thing I think they are lacking are a few bars w/​bumper plates that members could use for deadlifts/​cleans etc… but that’s a tough feature to find most places.

So, I ate so many hot-​dogs on the highway so decided to undo the harm at anytime fitness and this was the closest location. Like with many other AF this was a great gym. All of the equipment worked properly. Good showers, as well. Nice reception area, with TV, if you want to catch a game till half time. The crowd, well not that many girls in yoga pants as you my wish but overall OK young gym rats. Available drinks with suggestive amount to pay in a cash box. and the most helpful line for new members. I pay $ 400 (pay at once) for 12 months at Houston, TX location.
