Gutterking

I don’t think this company is in business any longer. I’ve tried calling three times and left messages three times and no one is calling me back.
Edited later same day:
I tried calling the Gutterking 3 times over the last month, always the number they list for Amherst/​Clarence. I listened to the out-​going message, I was reaching the correct business. Three times I left messages explaining I was looking for an estimate for gutter cleaning for our house in Clarence. I would leave my number, explain that I knew I do not have a 716 number but I was indeed in the area and needed service. Didn’t bother to call me back.
Today I tried emailing them at their email address on the website, someone responded to me within minutes. I emailed them my address, they gave me an estimate. The estimate is a bit high so I’m getting some more estimates to compare. To be honest, the fact that I had to hound this company to get an estimate sort of tells me perhaps they are not the one for me.
If you call with a 716 number, who knows? They might call you back. If you are a transplant with a non-​716 number keep searching my friend.
3^rd Edit, next day: I have now gotten two other estimates for gutter cleaning. I got them from real businesses, with websites and listed with the BBB and are licensed and insured. I don’t let just anyone get near my roof. Gutterking was more than DOUBLE their prices. So yes, the estimate they gave me was a wee bit high. Shop around, always get at least 2 – 3 quotes whenever you want work done on/​in your home.

We had no previous experience with ice dams forming on our roof. This was our first Buffalo winter, and it was what we expected in terms of snow; more than what we expected in terms of cold… and honestly had few expectations when it came to ice on the roof. Cue water draining through our roof near the gutters and out our kitchen light sockets and you have how we came to use Gutterking for ice removal. They were quick to answer our inquiry and did a thorough and professional job (not to mention doing so during another snow squall!) Water is now draining as it should– outside, and not inside, and we know who we will work with for our gutter needs in the future!

They were professional, fast, and did an excellent job — nothing but good things to say about this company.
