Hiring Jimmy’s crew was the best decision I’ve ever made! They finished in 3 hours, were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend them!

My husband and I moved again this year, something we do often as we turn houses (buy a house, live in it while we fix it up, sell it). We have always done our own moving, occasionally with the help of a few friends, but mainly by ourselves. This time around, my husband put his back out a week before the move. We decided we were going to have to hire movers. So, on Labor Day Weekend, my husband contacted a couple of local moving companies via email, and Jimmy Burgoff actually got back to us within a couple of hours — on a holiday weekend! We were amazed. He also was able to accommodate our move with less than a week’s notice. Sounds great, yes? It gets better.
The three guys showed up exactly on time at our storage facility and hit the ground on a dead run. They were friendly, professional and worked so hard we were flabbergasted (especially considering they are paid by the hour!). They loaded up our storage unit, brought it to our house and unloaded, only taking about a 20– to 30-​minute break for lunch. They did it all in 7 hours and charged exactly what they said would be charged. When they realized they wouldn’t be able to quite fit all of our belongings in the truck, they began selecting, making sure to get all of the heaviest items.
So, obviously, we would recommend Jimmy Burgoff Moving and Hauling to anyone needing their services. They will not disappoint!
CLARIFICATION: They had a huge, more than adequate moving van, and the only reason they were unable to fit all of our things is because we have a ton of crazily shaped, unstackable items like cement mixers, table saws, snow blowers, lawn mowers, brew system, etc. They absolutely made sure they took the heaviest items, leaving us with just a few light odds and ends.

My wife and I were very happy with our move with Jimmy’s team back in late November. Thought I had written a review already, but we’ve been a little busy in our new place.
Communication is essential as you get closer to your move date. Jimmy was always reachable by phone, patient for all our questions, and was very accommodating considering we had to change our move date. The team was skilled, fast, and friendly. Well worth the reasonable prices.

I feel so lucky to have found Jimmy, who shared his considerable knowledge and expertise even before I hired him to move a piano, and who patiently walked me through the process from beginning to end and organized the move with great speed and efficiency. We had the good fortune to find Jimmy Burgoff when looking for help after a mini-​disaster happened when my husband and I tried to move a heavy appliance ourselves. The appliance wound up stranded on our entry way steps, with no way for us to move it. Jimmy did his utmost to help us out, sending a couple of his crew that very day even though it was such a last-​minute request. The men who showed up were very helpful, courteous and conscientious. We can’t say enough what a difference their responsiveness made to us! I think Jimmy exemplifies what it means when a local business is truly a part of the community and cares about the other people in the community, vs. anonymous faceless big companies. He even went the extra mile in calling me that evening to make sure everything had gone all right. Based on this experience I would definitely use his services again as well as recommend him to anyone needing help with a move.
