Great place to get fast, delicious and fresh subs. The restaurant is very clean, the employees give great service. You can’t beat the speed. I would recommend! Make sure to check out the bathrooms!

I love coming here for subs! Ingredients are super fresh and yummy all the time. However, the subs aren’t toasted so I don’t know if that would be a turn off for anybody.
The JJ at this location is typically pretty empty which can be kind of nice sometimes. You can enjoy your sub in peace if you’re sticking around. The employees are generally pretty nice — none of them have given me a difficult time the few times I’ve been here. Sometimes I like staying in just to read the signs and look at the décor. It’s pretty interesting.

Jimmy johns is in a really convenient location near UB north and villas on North. I have ordered delivery, and ate in on numerous times and the subs were always really fresh, and the delivery was super fast. They also have great option for a lettuce wrap for low carb!

The service I received today compelled me to update my review for Jimmy John’s. 10 people from my office decided we wanted order JJ’s for lunch, and I offered to pick it up for everyone. (I knew it would be a quick and painless process at JJ’s even though there were 10 separate orders). We all ordered and paid with our own credit cards at our computers ahead of time, such a time saver! (except for you, Alexis S! #paidincash)
I went at 12pm and when my friend and I arrived to pick up everyone’s orders they were all bagged and ready for us on the counter. One of the employees noticed all of the orders were for us, and he gave us a big Jimmy John’s box to carry all of our food in. They don’t fill the drinks before you arrive because they don’t want the ice to melt before you come to get the food and I think that’s very thoughtful of them, so I never mind grabbing my cup and filling it up before I leave so that it’s fresh! Seeing as today we had multiple cups to fill, an employee offered to help us fill our cups and we were able to fill them all up in no time and be on our way.
The service at this location really goes above and beyond every time I come; they always have the food made just as you asked, its ready on time, and they are friendly faces from the time you walk in the door until the time you walk out. I was very impressed with the service today specifically, and I even was able to introduce two people in my office to how delicious Jimmy John’s is– so I think you guys got a couple more followers!

I’ve eaten here entirely too much. I’m staying at the staybridge and this is just a convenient place to get a meal. While JJ is not as healthy as one would think, the food is generally good. The only complaint I’ve ever had has been trying to eat it and the meat pushing out the back end of the sandwich which is just aggravating. «I’m hungry… quit running away.»
While some of the staff has been quiet as I enter, i’ve never had a bad experience. The food has always tasted fresh and good. The staff are college kids that are probably exhausted from school and work and trying to have a social life — i take nothing negative from that.

Good subs. Similar cost to Subway and 10x the product.

The service was meh. The guy who made my sub looked miserable like I was wasting his time.
He went ahead and assumed I wanted it on regular white roll, but I said Wheat. I mean how are you gonna start making it when I haven’t even finished my order. He just looked a bit annoyed, but def not my fault he assumed wrong.
Not to mention, he was very stingy on the meat. Maybe it’s just this spot b/​c I’ve been to other JJ’s out of state and they always gave a decent amount of meat. Nothing special here @ all…

I’ve been a JJs customer for many years now and am very happy that there’s one by north campus now! This is gonna sound strange but I normally am not a fan of deli meat. I’ve always been a -«salad» person (tuna salad, chicken salad, egg salad)… BUT the only thing I ever get is the Vito and it is one of my favorite sandwiches. Ever. One time I ordered (online) a Vito and decided to add a little bit of tuna because I couldn’t decide what I wanted and someone from JJs actually called me to make sure that was what I wanted. Because I’m weird. Sometimes they forget to cut the sub in half.

This place was the worst. I hate going into a place just to be ignored, is it so hard to say hello or may I help you? Apparently it’s very difficult at Jimmy John’s. I stood in front of the guy at the register and he just stared at me, I shouldn’t be the one initiating the transaction Jimmy John’s employees should be the ones who do that. Then he mumbled and whispered and wouldn’t make eye contact, not surprisingly the order was wrong because he wasn’t listening or engaged with his customers at all. Then I noticed that everyone else received a greeting and everyone else received a thank you, so I realized that at Jimmy John’s on Sweet home the employees are bigots. Two men who are going together to eat are assumed gay and worthy of being ignored because apparently that’s icky to the employees who work there. I’d like to point out that that is illegal in New York State. A gentlemen I assume was the manager, because he was twice the age of anyone else who worked there, saw all of this happen saw all the crappy service and did nothing about it. He didn’t come over and apologize he didn’t say gee guys sorry about being ignored or sorry about the crappy service. I called their corporate headquarters to complain, I was told the district manager would get back to me within 24 hours. It’s 48 hours later and I never heard a word, do some research on the CEO of Jimmy John’s, he kills endangered species he’s being sued by the state of Arizona for illegal campaign contributions, he threatened to fire employees so he wouldn’t have to pay for healthcare, he’s a right wing Dirtbag nut job. (My comments of ownership pertain to the CEO of JJ’s, not the Franchisee, who is completely comfortable buying a franchise from this scumbag.) So it doesn’t surprise me that I never received a call back homophobia is probably written right into their employee handbook. I will never ever step foot in this place again I hope they don’t survive in WNY. Just for the record, The food was not worthy of the aggravation. Do yourself a favor and go to Panera or, better yet, a local spot.

Ya’ know, I’ve gotta hand it to Jimmy John… He really gets the whole customer satisfaction thing…
I didn’t bring lunch to work today and didn’t want to lose my really good parking spot. At UB North Campus, if you have a good spot and then you leave, you may come back to full lots which will force you to have to park in East Jahunga. On a nice day, I’m okay with that. But it’s freaking cold today, and I just didn’t feel like losing my prime spot.
So I got on the JJ website to place my order. Unfortunately, because my office does not have a street address, the website kept telling me I’d have to order for pick up… So I picked up the phone.
They deliver to UB North! So I gave my office location and placed my order with the nice guy over the phone for a Club LuLu on wheat/​multigrain, a bag of jalapeño chips, and a pickle. He told me delivery would take 10 minutes.
10 MINUTES!!! It takes me longer to walk from my «good» parking space to my office. If the Jimmy John’s delivery guy can get my sangwich to me in 10 minutes, then Bob’s your uncle.
So I waited for a tiny bit, and then POOF out of nowhere, there was the delivery kid! 10 freaking minutes. So in the time it takes me to lug myself into my building and up to my office, Jimmy John’s has also crafted my sub AND taken a drive over from Sweet Home. HOW?!
My Club LuLu was damn good. I love the wheat bread even more than the white bread. It is so delicious! The bacon was a great addition, better than cheese and avocado.
I will definitely order for delivery again! It’ll save me from parking lot HELL.

The sub roll you use will make or break any sub. Jimmy John’s rolls are the best! Everything is very fresh. My favorite is the tuna sub. Fresh and not too much mayo. Great atmosphere. Friendly & fast service!

Went here today for the first time.
When I was debating on going to Subway I’m glad I picked Jimmy John’s over Subway, and probably will for the rest of my life.
One thing that people don’t get is if you go to subway and get a ham sub, just eat the ham alone. It tastes like salt, and not much anything else. The meat at Jimmy John’s was very good. I also enjoyed the french roll that was definitely fresh.
They were super fast. Before I paid, my sub was already wrapped and made. Talk about crazy fast.
Last thing is they are competitive and at times CHEAPER than subway. An Italian club sandwich, and chips ended up being just over 7 bucks. I regretted getting chips because the sub was plenty filling.
Overall they have a new customer!

I had my food delivered by this guy named ray and it was terrible. I waited 45minutes for my sub and the delivery guy was rude

I’ve been looking for a great sub place in Buffalo for quite a while now and i have found it! Jimmy John’s offers delicious subs at a reasonable price and offers a very calm environment for my family to eat at! The employees were also very friendly and helpful in making my experience wonderful! I thought it wouldn’t get any better but then I ordered delivery and ooohh mannn! I made sure to tip the driver some extra for getting here soo fast! 5 stars!!!

I have been waiting to try the sandwiches at this shop. I ordered a Vito which is salami and cappacola with the normal lettuce, tomato and onion. The sandwich was suppose to come with an Italian vinegarette dressing, but when I got home the sandwich had mayo on it. The sandwich had not much meat, but the bread was fresh. Overall, rather disappointing.
