Neptune’s Cellar / Ben Franklin Store

Ben Franklin has changed very little in my 31 years of life. I’ve never seen a business get stuck in such a time warp. I’m not saying that this is a bad thing, but it could stand a good dusting once in awhile.
If you are looking for a model car kit this is the place to go. They have one whole aisle dedicated to model cars and the paints, glues and other materials needed to put them together.
If you are looking for a fish or gerbil/​hamster tank then they have a lot to offer. Ben Franklin’s has a lot of great castles and rocks to put inside of fish tanks. They also have a lot of accessories/​cages for birds as well.
Venture down into the basement and into Neptune’s Cellar. They have a great selection fish food, fake fish tank plants, tank accessories (rocks, sculptures, etc), and all of the stuff you need to set up a tank. They also have a great selection of fish.
A hidden gem in the basement of a small little store in Amherst, Ohio. Neptune’s cellar is great and worth your time!

They sell everything from bobypins, to birds, to fish to toy trains and planes! they have a wonderful candy selection too!
