Please go somewhere else.
Went in for a fix for nail in tire.
Waited 3 hrs for them to take it in.
And they then told me it can’t be fixed and they do not have the tire too.
Another 30 mins to have it brought out.
Wasted my time and the store is very dirty.
Cleaning materials like the mop and dirty water left near the door.
Dust every where. Disgusting.

Yesterday I took my Chevy here to have a signal indicator light replaced. After waiting twenty minutes, I was called up to the desk. «Oh good,» I thought, «my car is done!» Nope. The guy at the desk told me that it would cost over $ 100 to replace the bulb. I was told it would be that much because «they have to take off the bumper or something to replace it so it’s a lot of work.»
Yeah, so… my husband and I have replaced bulbs on that car. It’s a pain in the ass, sure, Chevy has done a good job to make it un-​user friendly, but two non-​mechanics were able to do it (and no, you don’t have to «take off the bumper or something»). I usually take it somewhere to have it done to save us the trouble, but I *know* it’s not $ 100 worth of trouble because I have done it before and because other places charge me about $ 15 to replace bulbs. I took my keys and left absolutely livid.
Took the car to Dunn Tire today, was in and out in twenty minutes and was charged $ 13. Pep Boys sucks and I won’t be going back.

Only go here if you want to be outrageously overcharged. Seriously, don’t waste your time. Take it anywhere else. One time they charged me $ 150 to tell me that I’d have to pay $ 800 to MAYBE get my ABS light to go off. The next time they charged me $ 50 to tell me that it’ll cost me $ 500 to close my window.

My husband brought his 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander in to this location to get his front low beam light bulb changed. He was charged $ 81 and it took 45 minutes. Seriously? I can change the bulb myself in 5 min. I was just at work when he took it in. What kind of «mechanic» takes 45 min. to change a bulb? This is an example of bill padding and price gouging the customer. If I could give less than a 1 star rating I would. This is disgraceful. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

I purchased 4 tires from Pep Boys and they broke 2 studs and wanted to charge me an extra $ 100 to replace them. The studs cost $ 2.50 each. This is another example of how «big box» outfits screw you over and over and over. This should have been done at their expense, thereby, providing customer service for the future! I will write a better review if I am refunded my money. I have written to corporate listing all the other establishments in town who would have not charged a dime.

Last year I had a problem with my car breaking down. I had it taken to this Pep Boys. Over $ 1,000 later, I was told it was all fixed. I drove it 3 miles until it broke down again. I ripped apart the manager asking why it wasn’t taken for a test drive after it was «fixed.» They took it back in and the next day it was really fixed. They supposedly put a faulty part in the car.
I will never go here again, even for an oil change. I go to Mr. Tire now and have never had a problem there.
