Valley Transporter was recommended by my program as the easiest way to get to and from the airport to Smith College, and it certainly appeared to be.
It was easy enough to make the reservation and pay in advance online, even for the tip. Unfortunately, they only take VISA and MC, neither of which is my corporate card, and the receipt that they provide is more for confirmation of pick up than expense reporting, but I made it work.
When I arrived at Hartford, I called the number as instructed and was told where I could wait and what time to anticipate the next van. The drivers were very courteous, pointing out things along the way and facilitating conversation with and between passengers when others were interested. For the return trip, I got a confirmation email saying what time I needed to be outside to meet my shuttle.
All in all a great experience.

Valley Transporter is an excellent service!!! We have used them on numerous occasions to get my daughter and myself from the airport to UMASS and they have been prompt and reliable every single time. They absolutely go above and beyond for the customer.

Although it’s been at least half a year since I’ve used them (my transportation needs have changed), I found Valley Transporter to be a great way to get to the airport. They are timely and pleasant. The amount of time it takes to get to the airport can vary depending on how many people they’re picking up, but they schedule backwards from your flight so you’ll be on time. I’d recommend them highly.

Brian picked me up at a car rental agency in Hartford at the exact time the dispatcher gave me, then drove me to my apartment in Amherst for $ 58 including tip. As I was the only passenger, he even stopped by the Hadley Mall so that I could pick up an item for my apartment before dropping me off. They are a fantastic professional service.

Brian arrived at exactly 235pm which was the time the dispatcher told me the day before that someone would pick me up in Holyoke, MA.
About 30 minutes later I was at Bradley international airport. This time I was the only passenger.
The cost was the same — $ 59 plus tip.
Good, professional service. Brian was a friendly guy and has lived all over the United States. It was fun talking with him on the ride to the airport.

Really, really expensive! If you can park in Franklin county, call Thomas Transportation in New Hampshire. They cost less.
