We love this place and go there a couple times a month for lunch. We prefer to sit in the dining section because once you’ve eaten at the hibachi, you’ve been there and done that. It’s much faster to sit in the dining side and I think the food is not overcooked like it can get on the hibachi when they are cooking everyone’s food at once. The sauces are amazing and are all made in house and available for sale to take home. The lunch prices are almost half the price of the dinner price and I feel like you get just as much. I can’t speak for the sushi as I’m not a big fan but the hibachi steak is amazing!

We had a pretty fun experience here and the food was good. We have been to hibachi grills before and this was pretty standard. Our chef did a great job and the chicken was tasty. My husband and son had steak and shrimp and the shrimp was great! They do NOT take reservations on Friday or Saturday nights though which was a bit of a surprise. They were very busy the Friday night that we were there and although we ordered our sushi and asked for it before our meal, we didn’t get it until dessert time which was pretty disappointing. No one was hungry for it after our meal so it pretty much went to waste. We will definitely be back though!

I’ve been eating sushi for over 25 years and this place served me some of the best nigiri I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommended!

Omg the shrimp and steak hibachi is amazing! Being from Los Angeles this is the only place I’ll eat at! Shrimp tempura rolls and crab rangoons are amazing!!!

This is one of the best places to eat in Idaho Falls! The hibachi is delicious and fun and the sushi is spectacular. There’s some off menu rolls that you should ask about… you won’t be disappointed!

Seriously my new favorite place in IF. I am from California and have to go to Utah to get my hibachi fix, but not anymore! This place is delicious, plenty of food that is well worth the price if you ask me. The service was wonderful, salad dressing delicious, great dipping sauce, flavorful miso(I switched it out for the salad since they don’t serve it as part of hibachi but it’s a minor fluke), and I got the filet and shrimp combo. The shrimp was amazing and filet completely melts in your mouth. My husband got the hibachi chicken and that was flavorful and tender and juicy as well. As I said, not the cheapest restaurant but for hibachi the prices are just right, we will make this our regular«celebration» place. I don’t see this place going anywhere thankfully.

This place is an amazing experience! We ate hibachi and it was quite the show. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. I haven’t had the sushi yet, but I have heard that it is pretty good. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time and a hilarious show!

So, as far as service goes, I’d say it was about a 4 star! Our server was just so nice, but he did forget that we added cream cheese on a roll and kind of played it off like«Oh, didn’t know you wanted that.» My mom also expressed being surprised by an order that came out differently than expected, and that was kind of brushed off by the server as well, rather than trying to fix the order. She ended up not eating it, and still having to pay. I would categorize my food as a 1 star. I was shocked when I arrived and saw how low the prices were on a few items. However, they’re only so low because they come with barely any food! So, you then have to keep ordering more and more food just to get full and voila, you’re left with a ridiculous bill. For the vegetarians, each roll on the«vegetarian menu» consists of rolls that each contain only one ingredient, and comes with only 6 very small pieces. If you’re hungry, just skip this all together and go for the vegetable hibachi, because you will not leave satisfied otherwise! Price comparison for two to get full: Blue Hashi: $ 32 Fuji: $ 51

Went to this Japanese restaurant in Idaho Falls. It was very good overall. I recommend requesting the Hibachi Chef, Herman, he was awesome! The overall service was great! Highly recommend Kaitlyn.

This was a great dining experience. We ate at the hibachi grill so it was dinner and a show. We had filet, scallops, and chicken. The meal also came with grilled vegetables and fried rice. All were well prepared and tasted great. Our chef was funny and put on a good show to keep us entertained. I would definitely eat here again and recommend this place to others. It’s a little spendy but we didn’t leave hungry and the food tasted great.

I really love coming here. Came once on date night with my wife and once with the kids. Expensive to bring kids, but not bad for date night! Sushi was good and so was the shrimp and chicken. I wish there was a little more kick to the food, but I will keep going back to try different varieties. Love the energy of the cooks each time. Wish I could see how they trained their team. Great place!

Been here three times and haven’t been disappointed yet. The food is great and reasonably priced. I am never disappointed in the chef who cooks and performs. Definitely a favorite for date night!

Always fun, and a novelty for Idaho Falls. Maybe a bit on the pricey side, but the hibachi chefs are very entertaining and the food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended. It might be the best place in Idaho Falls for a dependably delicious meal and really great service. As I said, the price can be a bit much, especially if you order starters, like a sushi roll, for instance. One quick note… The ginger-soy salad dressing on the house salad is amazing!

I haven’t had the hibachi yet, so I’ll have to come back and update my review once I do. The service was AWESOME. Our waitress was super attentive and helped us out with the large sushi menu. We always go for the specialty rolls. Skip the lobster roll. Note to the business: YOUNEED A BETTERLOBSTERROLL!!! Like come on, give a popcorn lobster roll or something at least. I liked that it was different than different lobster rolls I’ve had, but neither of us liked it at all. The special snowball roll was good! And we got two more that were pretty good, but I can’t remember what they were. If they had their menu online I could tell you, but they don’t. So, sorry!

Excellent customer service and very kid friendly. For being in Idaho Falls, and not having a lot of dining selections, I would go here every day! Server was on top of it, never had an empty drink, and very friendly. Food was fresh and hot items were hot. No complaints!

All I’ve heard about this place is how great it is. I got the chicken teriyaki bento box and edamame. The edamame was great. All the food in my bento box was awesome, but the fried rice was awful. The rice wasn’t cooked well and the flavor was garbage. The California roll was pretty decent-I was hesitant to order sushi in Idaho but it wasn’t bad at all. Our waiter was a grouch and he yelled everything. I also saw him chewing as he brought food out which I found to be terribly unprofessional. It wasn’t terrible, but I don’t think I’ll bother to make a second trip.

Honestly if I could give this place 6 stars I would. We took our daughter & her family for her Birthday. It was excellent! We had her 3 kids with us and they had a blast also. Dinner & a show it was great. We started out with the veggies appetizers. They were good but really not necessary as they give you plenty of food. Between the 8 of us we had the Shrimp, Chicken & Steak. All three was very good. The fried rice was phenomenal the best I’ve ever had. Our server was Aji he is excellent! We will definitely be going back for more. Probably the best restaurant in Idaho Falls right now. We also have been to Beni Hana in SLC and felt this was way better! Definitely want to give this place a try you will not regret it.

My semi-high expectations weren’t really met. Grouchy server, only decent food, but nice interior. I went here with my family on the recommendation of others who had spoken pretty highly of the place. And of course, it was the new place in town, so we had to give it a try! It was packed when we got there, and we had to wait about 15 – 20 minutes on a Wednesday night. But that’s to be expected of a newer restaurant, so it wasn’t really an issue. We got seated around the hibachi and waited for a while for our server to make a showing. She showed up and was pretty grouchy from the get go. She didn’t really make any conversation with us and seemed to just tolerate our presence there. Fortunately, the cook who showed up later was a little more outgoing, but even he seemed like he was just trying to get through a shift. I get that, and it’s also part of the experience to have a nice outgoing cook. The food. It really wasn’t anything all that exciting, although it was certainly decent. I sampled nearly everything off of the hibachi, as my group was rather large and made a variety of orders. I had the scallops and shrimp combination plate, and along with the calamari, I’d say that these are the best items off of the hibachi. They were all well cooked and seasoned. The chicken was rather bland. The steak was good as well. What seemed to be most prominent on the plate was a huge pile of fried rice that really had very little flavor to it. That seemed odd to me, considering how much sauce the cook had put into it! I do love me some eggs in rice, and I did appreciate how much egg was in it, but that’s all the positive I have to say for it. I was also disappointed in the vegetables served. It seemed like it was a 2:1 ratio of onions to every other vegetable. I like onions, but not in that ratio. So the food really was just OK to me. I see all these 5-star reviews and I think that maybe I had a bad experience or something. I’m not sure. I just am not all that keen on the place.

Exceeded my expectations. Very good sushi and food in general. Service was quick even when busy and the staff very polite and friendly. It’s my first time here and I’m thinking i might just be a regular.
