The best southern cooking I’ve eaten. Pot roast is beyond words. Chicken and dressing is the same. I ate beans by the bucket full and I don’t even like beans. Peach cobbler? Yeah, that’s great too. I’d recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great home-cooked southern meal with hospitality to match.

We came in and was immediately greeted by Mrs. Regina’s husband we found a table and went and filled up a plate an went back to the table! We ate our food made from scratch that was purchased from the local markets and prepared starting early in the morning until 11 am when the doors opened for the daily 3 hour lunch run. Wonderful cozy atmosphere with friendly Dera Sue, Mrs Regina’s sister running the waitress staff or by herself if need be and check constantly for low drinks or anything else you may need. And let not forget everybody’s favorite grandmother and friend Mrs. Regina Dean popping out of the kitchen and checking on everyone and helping care for her customers at a personal level! All the local big wigs eat here often as the city hall is just across the park from her front doors, not unusual to see the chief of police or mayor sitting at the tables next to you! Got to love this place, it old fashion cooking that would make most southerners fall in love immediately!
