Dolci

This is a small indoor/​outdoor café, selling absolutely wonderful baked goods in a totally unassuming area, that I discovered on a recent bicycle trip. They specialize in gourmet cupcakes, Italian pastries, and Italian and American cookies. They also offer gourmet coffee, cappuccino, espresso and lattes.
My wife and I enjoyed an assortment of excellent Italian cookies (which turns out to have been the store’s specialty), sampling one-​half each of all they had. These are the real deal, nothing like those cheap imitations one finds in supermarkets. The flavors were delicate, and blended together to make a magnificent whole. No one flavor in any cookie was overpowering.
We did not get their cupcakes, but they looked heavenly, several with unique flavorings I’ve never seen on cupcakes elsewhere.
This will definitely be a café that I will willingly go out of my way to visit again.
