Great food, large portions at an extremely reasonable price! Definitely recommend for all occasions!

Unbelievably good brunch for a great price! We stopped for Fathers Day and had made to order omelettes, kielbasa, bacon, scones, fresh fruit … All were amazing. Didn’t try all the other dishes that looked delicious: lasagna, chicken piccata, eggplant rollatini… Wanted to try more but we were too full. Needs more Unilocalers, we almost missed this place because of no reviews. Will definitely come back when we are in the area. Need to try dinner.

Have improved menu and service. Décor is dated but the food is excellent with included soup or salad. Great chef and wait staff.

I had heard some bad things about this place in than past and had stayed away. recently we were hearing good things so we decided to give it a try. the wine list is good. the bread was very good. we had very fresh large salads and the shrimp bruscetta app. the app was good but the bread a little to over grilled for my liking. the main dish arrived. large portions nice presentation. the taste. kind of blah. my shrimp was over done and the picatta sauce lacked flavor. my boyfriend got veal. that was just ok too. we will give this place another try and I will try something different. I do have to say that the food was better than raindancer. it was a little chilly so wear Some layers

I have eaten at Nicolino’s four or five times. The first time was for a private party. The next couple times were for takeout. And, recently we had dinner here for my brother’s birthday. I used to hold Nicolino’s in very high regard until the most recent dinner. We always order the same thing for takeout — penne a la vodka. We have always been satisfied with the meal and the warm bread that comes with it. Salads have always been fresh. Not a lot to complain about. This most recent trip was less than impressive. I ordered the penne a la vodka, as usual. It was okay. My husband decided to try the fish fry. Fish fry should be light and flakey. This fish was obviously frozen with a thick fried breading and no flaking whatsoever. My sister in law asked for some more bread to dip in her alfredo sauce and was told she would have to pay either $ 5 for a half loaf or $ 8 for a full. I understand their warm bread is a staple, however, in an Italian restaurant it should be expected that people want to dip bread in their sauce. Looking around the dining room as we ate our meal my husband and I could not help but notice the collection of dust and cobwebs that has accumulated atop the various pieces of furniture and other decorations around the room. Nothing is a bigger turn off in a restaurant than looking up and seeing gross cobwebs above your food.
