Earth Bound Used Books

A friend of mine introduced me to this charming, locally owned used bookstore a few years ago; and every time I visit Earth Bound Used Books the staff is friendly and helpful, the store is clean and well stocked with a large variety of books for the serious to casual reader. There’s even a section devoted to the works of local authors.
However one of the best things I like about Earth Bound Used Books, especially since it is a used bookstore, is that it has a Metaphysical/​Occult section! They even have Tarot Card decks behind the counter for purchase.
As someone interested in these topics, I love being able to go into a local store and browse this section and really get a feel for a book or Tarot Deck without having to order it online and wait for it to arrive at my home. In addition, I love the fact that when I do buy books or Tarot Cards it DOES NOT come with a lecture, funny looks, or any sense of judgement from the staff or owner… which is more than I can say for a few thrift stores in the area.
I hope that the staff and owner knows that the section of the public which purchases metaphysical /​occult books appreciates that they make these types of items available to us and that we also appreciate their professionalism at the point of sale regardless of their own personal beliefs.
I highly recommend a visit to Earth Bound Used books to any and all book lovers as you’re sure to find something for everyone here!

I was here to catch a bite to eat after getting off a terrific boat ride. And while walking through town I found this lovely books store which was connected to another small nik nak type shop. This used book store is just great. I found me two Steinbecks which I had to have. The books are priced more then the Internet but it is locally owned. The owner is super nice. When buying my book the change was a few pennies short, with her even knowing I was a tourist because we talked about it which meant I might not be a repeat customer she still said «ahh don’t worry about it» and totally covered the few cents I was short. If you love used books and are floating through town you must stop in.
