Tried the chicken fried rice and the broccoli beef. The fried rice was a little bland, but looked and tasted fine and not oily. The broccoli beef exceeded my expectations. The broccoli was crisp and fresh and the beef had nice texture and flavor. Will definitely come here again when I need some rice-​based comfort food.

Man this is my go to spot when I am working. They always make great sushi and at a reasonable price. I will pick this spot over every other Asian option in Anacortes hands down. The food quality is just superior. Also the staff is always friendly when I come in.

The food is great! Nice and spicy! But these guys need to get with the times. Styrofoam boxes wrapped in plastic bags are morally irresponsible choices for to-​go wear. There’s no excuse to be using these things. Have a heart you guys!

Absolutely love this place!!! My favorite is the spicy chicken and the dragon roll. I go here about once a week. Very friendly and always remember what I like to eat. If you have a hard time figuring out what to get, just ask them! They’ll recommend you something that you won’t be disappointed with. Family meals are BIG and great prices! Dine in, or take out. Mongolian beef is another favorite and the service is fast!

Super Yummy and fresh. Sushi is a favorite in our family as well as the teriyaki and the wonton soup. I have tried other places in the area and none come close to the quality of both food and service that Happy Wok has.

Absolutely horrible sushi. I just ordered a 20 dollar plate of 2 spicy tuna and 1 tuna roll. The spicy tuna doesn’t have sriacha in it and tastes completely bland. I won’t be back. Do not come here for Sushi and goto Mt Vernon for your sushi fix. This place sucks and I’m absolutely pissed.
I’m from California where we have the best Sushi on the west coast. This isn’t even sub par, this is just bad. Unbelievable how is a spicy tuna roll without sriracha in the basic blend of tuna not coming together for you guys? Please explain

We usually take-​out from here, love the food nothing bad so far from the menu. Actually stopped in an ate at store, noise is high and echoes which makes it worse. Food was great and they are fast and very personable people. So I’ll just take-​out from now on

Great food and a nice meal before heading to the ferry terminal. I always get the Mongolian beef (extra spicy) and it is super good. The heat is beyond «5 stars». They also serve brown rice. The teriyaki is pretty good. I’ve never tried the Korean dishes. Overall, nice place for Asian food — for Anacortes.

Got the C-​8 Teriyaki Chicken, beef extra spicy with short ribs. Excellent as always and highly recommend. Everything seems clean and fresh.

How many times do you get to eat somewhere where everyone knows your name?! It’s like the «cheers» of restaurants! Superb service! The food is soooo good! I love that every time I come in, the family who runs it are always talking to the customers. Although I don’t live here, I do work in Anacortes and I prefer to do all my business here. It’s these types of businesses that impress me a great deal! A big thank you to the owners for great food and a great place to eat!

We grabbed 2 bento lunches to eat on the ferry to B.C. I was shocked by how much food we got for the price! We both thought it was very tasty and were pleased. If I lived nearby I’d get take out from there often!

In how many ways do I love this place!!! I love LOVE their sushi! I have gotten a serious sushi addiction in Japan, and this place satisfied my requirements. Very fresh, well presented, excellent service.
Overall — of all the sushi places on the island, this one is my favorite!

There were two guys on the other side of the counter when I walked in. One was just standing there like he didn’t know what to do and maybe he didn’t, and the other one was just carrying on a conversation. When it was apparent that were done ordering, I started walk up but then he carried on his conversation. I had to raise my voice to ask if they had a menu that described their rolls. Let’s face it, «yummy yummy» doesn’t tell you too much. The guy picked up a menu that was in front of the register (blocked by the chatty couple) and literally said, «right here» with attitude and a shake off the head.
He kept talking after taking my order about how his mom won’t sell him the store. Go figure, he’s a complete douche and would run an other wise nice business to the ground.

We have been to this place several times, and the food (be it Chinese, teriyaki, or sushi) is consistently good. The prices are on the high side of fair but we have never had a bad experience and the kids love it for its proximity to Toppins for desert. If you need sushi in Anacortes, this is a good bet.
Update 1⁄14: Tonight I found my new favorite Asian dish. I had their Hot & Spicy Chicken Mushroom and it was a party in my mouth. The vegetables were perfectly cooked (crisp without being raw) there was copious chicken, and the sauce was flavorful and moderately spicy. This dish set the standard by which others will be compared.

Great food, fast service. Not too salty, and no MSG. Sushi is nice and fresh; portions all around are very generous! Fried prawns and gyoza are crisp and light without tasting greasy.

Very clean and friendly, food is good for a semi fast food teriyaki place.
Good portions and they don’t nickle and dime you like some teriyaki places do. Try the lunch bowl, the stir fry lettuce and some other vegetables and serve it over rice with Chicken Teriyaki, good size if you dont want to get too full and the price is right

Huge portions. Clean. Food tastes pretty good for semi-​fast food restaurant. They have take-​out. I love their egg drop soup. Lots of veggies and not too salty unlike some of the other soups they have. They also advertise no MSG. The hot tea is complementary, so have a cup while you wait!
