They fixed my phone to good as new, so I’d give them four — five stars on the work they perform. But, their communication and customer service skills are for shite, and I’d give them zero stars for that. So, I’m gonna average it to a 2/2.5 star rating. When I called in to ask about getting the screen replaced, I told them it was a T-Mobile Galaxy Note II in grey. John said it would be 20 minutes to fix it but they had to order the part. I prepaid over the phone and they said that they’d call when the part was in. Four or five days later, they called to say the part was in and I brought it in that afternoon. When I arrived, they again said it would be 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, the tech(Adib) said that it would just be a few more minutes. After 40 minutes, I was told it would just be a few more minutes. After an hour and twenty minutes, I was told it would just be a few more minutes. And finally, after an hour and 45 minutes, I was told that they had the wrong part and he’d need to pick up a part on his way in the next morning.(Why did it take four-five days to order the first part, if he was able to pick up a replacement part the next day?) When I called the next morning, Adib said that he ordered the part and it should be delivered soon. He said he’d call his supplier and let me know when the part would be delivered… the part that he said he was picking up in the morning. He called me back 15 minutes later and said that the part would be delivered in the next hour and he’d call when the repair was complete.(My guess is that my call to him made him realize that he forgot to pick up the part on his way in, as he said he would, and that he placed the order after I called.) He called about two hours later and said the repair was complete. When I went to pick up the phone, they forgot to give me the stylus that is an integral part of this phone. If I didn’t have the«away from stylus» notification on, I probably would have gotten home(20 minutes away) instead to the parking lot before I noticed that it was missing. I’m glad the phone is fixed, and the work seems to be quality. But, this was a very frustrating process with poor communication and customer service every step of the way. They should think about hiring someone with people skills to man the front counter. The techs I spoke with were both lacking in the«talking to people» capability.

I really want to like these«guys» as I’ve been meaning to find a local Mac fix-it shop for our 6 Mac devices. The headphone jack on my old-school iPod was faulty and they assured me they could fix it. They even tried fixing it while I was in the store and only charged me $ 20 to do so. However, I’ve had to bring it back since as their re-assembly caused it to not be chargeable at all. I’ve emailed them and still, 2 weeks later, I have yet to hear back from them that this is fixed. I’m afraid to waste my time«dropping in» to pick it up because when I came to pick it up the first time(when they told me it would be ready) it clearly wasn’t ready and I had to wait 45 minutes for him to do the work there. My thought is they’ll «try» to fix anything but, from this initial experience, some of the older models might be a challenge. And I’m fine with that as long as they make up for it in customer service. But they’re dropping the ball on that for me, which is too bad.

Hard to remember the last time I was so thrilled with customer service. These guys earn every one of those five stars in the rating. I found them on Craigslist and called 20 minutes before closing. They offered to wait until I got there to fix my son’s shattered iPhone! Can you say above and beyond? I told them it wasn’t necessary, so we showed up at 10AM when they open. My son needed the back glass replaced, and wanted a new screen shield. I pulled my cracked iPad 2 out of my purse and asked if it was something they could handle. The corner was dented courtesy of a concrete sidewalk collision and the screen was a lost cause. He told me they could fix it and advised I leave the iPad with them for 14 hours to insure the best seal. We went across the street, got a car wash and fifteen minutes(or less) later the iPhone glass was replaced and the front and back screen shields were replaced-FOR FREE-because of the iPad repair. How awesome is that?! My iPad took a little longer to repair than originally thought, but they communicated regularly, and threw in a free case to make up for the delay. Wonderful!
