The Apothecary Spa

I have had massages all around the world and I wanted to do something special for me and my girlfriend before I left for deployment so, I scheduled a couples massage with Christina and Tim. The spa is very nice, with a peaceful atmosphere as well as being very clean. I would have given a five star review if my review was just on Tim but since my massage therapist (Christina) hardly paid attention to where I stated my trouble areas were. Which are my lower back and neck. I told her I keep all my stress in my lower back and that’s my main issue. I felt She mostly focused on my upper back which was not any of my concern any rushed massaging the rest of my body. It Was a wonderful upper back massage but that was not what I needed. On the contrary Tim did a outstanding job on hitting every point of concern for my girlfriend. I would highly recommend Tim to a friend. You definitely can tell which one of the two enjoys there job and which one just does it to make money. So ultimately for the Price I paid I would NOT recommend Cristina.

Amber assisted me with my mini pedicure while I was visiting the Majestic on 2÷13÷14. She was very nice and made me feel comfortable. She did a great job, did a scrub massage and lotion massage on my feet & enjoyed chatting with her about the Anacortes area. Definitely recommend spending some time at this spa while you are in town!

Surprised that I’m the first review — because I had the most wonderful massage here! On vacation and came in for some much needed relaxation. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The sitting area where you wait for your service is nice and calming and there is water and some kind of snack mix (didn’t try it) available. I had a deep tissue massage with Beth, I would highly recommend her! It had been a while since my last message and she found all my little knots. She was very professional, asking me about my problem areas and she checked in with me to make sure the pressure was ok. I’m a fan of deep tissue massage (Swedish just doesn’t cut it for me anymore) and I have to say Beth was one of the best. My only complaint about the spa in general was that there were no private changing rooms in the locker room… or at least I couldn’t find them if there are.
