Love love love and totally am addicted to Pure Barre! I’ve been doing it now for about a month and the Anaheim Hills staff has really been amazing in making me feel comfortable, capable and excited to attend class. I have been going about 4 times per week and I can totally feel the difference in my body. It never gets easy and I have never taken the same class twice, because they are constantly changing it up. Make sure to stop by and you will be amazed at how hard you will work and how great you will feel!

I have been attending Pure Barre — Anaheim Hills for the last six months and the classes continue to challenge and motivate me. The instructors are friendly, helpful with technique, and encouraging. The music is always changing and upbeat. And, the retail offered is addictive. I feel stronger and firmer– and slowly tackling flexibility which has improved my strength workouts with trainer.

I’ve been coming off and on for 5 years now. Anaheim Hills is one of the original Pure Barres in the area and former instructors have gone on to open studios throughout the OC. I’ve tried Cardio Barre, Bar Method, Tone Barre, Pop Physique, etc. but think Pure Barre is the most effective work-out. I’ve finally committed to monthly classes which motivates me to come out multiple times a week. I especially love their new Platform classes and can’t wait for them to offer more of them throughout the week. In addition to the toning, I just love the experience of taking a Pure Barre class — wearing a cute lululemon outfit to class, working out with a friend, looking at their retail sales, and getting a Nekter juice afterwards. It is my guilty pleasure away from work and the kids. If you come often, the packages(especially on promotion) can be a good deal. My wishlist would be for the instructors to play more hip hop, do more form corrections(Michelle is great about this), and stretch out more people at the end of class.

Addicted to this workout! All the instructors are patient and professional, they make sure your position is correct so not to hurt yourself as well as offer modifications to accommodate any disabilities or injuries you might have. There are time available for any schedule making it easy to get in an GREAT hour workout.

I started pure barre with groupon deals, and now im extending it to the new clients unlimited package. Honestly, i started to enjoy the class on my 3rd, Jillian was the instructor that day. She would explained«tuck» in a plain word while showing to me, very attentive. Thank you pure barre anaheim hills for your great staffs !

I had tried many different types of work out studios searching for the right combo of a physical challenge, supportive & encouraging group of people along with knowledgable instructors. Pure Barre AH met all of these and more; the classes are perfectly designed to help me reach my work out goals, the staff is very helpful, kind and knowledgable. I love coming here and really enjoy working out again!

Purchased a Unilocal deal as, in my opinion, the classes are a bit too pricey otherwise. My local yoga class is as good a workout at a fraction of the price. That being said, my experience at Pure Barre Anaheim Hills has been a positive one so far(taken two classes). Pros Great workout, great music. Friendly staff. Cons Price(normally), website to register for classes; I had some trouble getting set-up in the system but they resolved it quickly. I’d recommend a workout here if you are looking for muscle tone. Definitely a challenging workout but that’s how you get results. They also offer a free basics class if you are new, so you can learn all of the moves at a slower pace. I haven’t attended that but I think it’s a nice offering.

I’m a fan! Very true! I got the deal after a friend gifted me for my birthday and I never redeemed until this week. Quick Review: Location: I’m in Fullerton so the 18 – 20 min drive wasn’t that bad, considering i went to a 7:15 am session. But, I can’t wait until the Brea one opens in December.(Though props to being next to the Nekter Juice Bar, good choices pre or post workout) Class: the class was intense. Apparently the staff forgot to do an intro with the instructor on my first class, so it was apparent that I was struggling. They do have a «Breaking Down the Barre» class once a month which is neat. Staff: The staff was kind. I wish I could have been more one on one for a few minutes before or after class. The instructor came in as soon as class started and left, presumably to cool down, as soon as it ended. Workout: It kicked my ass. I’m a cardio girl, so the strength training was just brutal. I thought my previous dance experience might help… no sir. I almost wanted to quit a few times and was bummed I found my groove towards the end of class, but I’ll be back!

FANTASTICINSTRUCTORS!!! Been at the Anaheim Hills location for one year and have seen results! The entire staff, from the owner to the front desk assistants to all the sweet, fit and knowledgeable teachers, this is the best full body workout! The music is always perfect for the movements, the teachers are energetic and peppy and encouraging and the variety of workouts is A+! Love all the class options and the warm welcome every time I come! Thank you for making this my second workout home!

Love Pure Barre and was happy to see that there was a studio near me when I moved from Ladera Ranch to Fullerton. This studio is conveniently located off imperial highway and is in a strip mall with a Starbucks, Nekter, etc. I do wish they had more 6 am classes, but they have them on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I liked Michele’s class as she won’t hesitate to correct your form 23943 times and make sure you’re doing the moves correctly. Amber and Kelly are great too.

I love Pure Barre! I’ve been coming to this studio for about two years now. All of the instructors are so warm and welcoming. The studio has events or special classes every month and often holds challenges to motivate their clients. They really work to foster an inviting community. Every class is different too… different instructors, different moves, and different music. It keeps the classes engaging and challenging! I’ve taken other barre classes but Pure Barre is by far my favorite.

This is the best barre studio! All the instructors give you a tough workout. They mix it up every week but they deliver the new instructions like they have mastered it. Been going here over a year and love the consistency and quality of the classes.

Since leaving my previous poor update I did hear from the owner of the studio. While she didn’t really do anything to help my experience overall she did say that training would be provided to the employees regarding the wait lists. It now seems like some of my problems may be related to functionality of the mind-body backbone. Overall, getting better I guess but still a long way from where they used to be.

I’ve been wanting to try pure barre for awhile. so i decided to purchase the Unilocal deal. pure barre was kind of like a full body ‘blogilates’ session. if you’re like me and lack the will to START doing the workouts, then a class might just be what you need. classes were small enough so every student gets the attention they deserve. my instructor was kelly and she was super nice. she walked me thru each step, making sure i was able to keep up with everyone.

I really enjoy this place. It kicks my booty into shape, I’m always dripping wet from sweat and each class is different with upbeat music. I’m always sore the next day and it makes me excited to see results. I started with a Groupon and now I’m on to a monthly plan. All of the instructors have been fantastic and help me with modifications because of my bulging disc in my lower back. I’m so happy I pushed myself to start coming here and it is a great addition to my workout routine.

This is not a class for a beginner — The class is taught with many, many small reps and alternate positions are not provided to ease a student into the routine. Much more like Pilates to high energy dance music. A great class for those already in shape and looking to do something different. The facility is clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The first class is not free($ 25) although they offer to discount any package that you purchase following the class. Too Bad — frustrated and discouraged, I left after ½ the class.

I love Pure Barre! I just finished my 8th class and I can already see and feel a difference! Just when you think they can’t come up with anymore ways to lift, tone, & burn they do!!! I look forward to my workouts here 3 times a week!

After doing Barre3 for a few months, I switched to Pure Barre purely because of the location. The two are very different but I like them both. Pure Barre is very upbeat with pump-it-up music. There is a lot of «tucking» which feels awkward at first but I got used to it after a few classes. I definitely feel sore after each workout — hurts so good! Everyone has been very friendly and the instructors are very hands-on and will help you with technique and correct you to make sure you are getting the most out of the workout. I purchased a groupon for a 10 class package and would recommend getting a good introductory offer if you want to try it out! Two negatives I must note:(1) they don’t have a water fountain so if you bring a water bottle you have to fill it up beforehand or drink the water from the bathroom sink or else you have to buy one of their water bottles;(2) no childcare available.

PRICE: Started out with a Unilocal deal and bought a HUGE class package. I go less frequently nowadays but occasionally pop in for a class just to use up my classes. The classes are pretty expensive… I don’t suspect I’ll rebuy. THEWORKOUT: Ball, 2 pound weights, and a bar and that’s basically all you really need. Theoretically you can do this workout at home by yourself but who would think to slightly flex and unflex your bicep muscle until fatigue? I mean, that is kinda the concept of it. I think it’s not really intuitive and for first timers it takes awhile to understand this«tiny movement» concept. I personally am still always wrong and corrected by the instructors during every class. It’s okay, i’m no ballerina. I advocate this workout as a low impact strengthening workout for women who don’t want to lift heavy at the gym or build muscle mass but want to stay active and strengthen the lower body or core(the upper body workout here is very short). RESULTS: I did about 3 months of PBWITHOUT my other workouts, going about 3 classes a week, just to see the effect it would have on my body. –Conclusion: PB is to my body what LULULEMON is to my body; Doesn’t change my body composition or decrease my fat cells, but just squeezes in the parts of my body I want to look better. Unfortunately, I am a skinny Asian girl with NOASS, so there is no effect of the«squeezing» on my body. And that is why I don’t really do this workout anymore… I need something that adds some curves to my skinny body but I do enjoy this workout to mix up my routine. CLASSATMOSPHERE: Very choreographed. Everything is routine. Though each instructor is different and they change up the moves in each class and my legs are shaking from doing 500 mini plies, I still find myself mentally bored. How can this be? Also, if you don’t show up in your sticky socks you are either new or uncool. I think everyone should try a Barre Class. it could definitely work for you. So far I brought my sister, who didn’t like it at all, and my mom, who kinda liked it and went several times afterwards. I think it depends on what your fitness goals are, really. I wouldn’t plan on losing a TON of weight on it alone(need some cardio too), but if you need something low impact and something you don’t dread coming to(like the gym), this could be your thanggg! I would try Michelle’s class first… she is sort of a proper form Nazi and not afraid to correct you 10thousand times, plus her class will give you a full experience on what to expect. I also like Amber because she is sweet and has fun creative classes and the great bubbly butt I wish I could have.

I started over a year ago with barre classes and had been taking from another studio. Pure Barre Anaheim Hills was recommended to me and I have been there ever since. This workout and this studio is always fresh and uplifting. I can’t think of any workout where you could achieve the results that you get on your backside or thighs! This is a TOTAL body workout though, so upper body is tightened and toned as well. I go 3 – 4 times a week and I’m always motivated to go, unlike the gym or running. The routines vary from week to week and the teachers are all quite good. I highly recommend this studio and pure barre technique! It helps that the Owner is very hands on and knows her business!
