I contacted A-​1 Fence Company to request a bid for a self closing gate and pool fence at the property I manage. I received a quick reply saying my information was forwarded to Marty, who would be calling me.
Unfortunately 10 days later I still hadn’t heard from him and I was told he’d get with me sometime in the next week. Seriously, is this a one man operation or what?
I don’t think A-​1 fence understands the concept of time is of the essence.

I called A1 to have them bid a job for me. The receptionist said I would have to speak with Marty. However, he was at lunch, but she would have him call me. I waited a day, and I never heard back. So I called them back. I asked for Marty, and he scheduled me for a week out to do the bid. I agreed, and he said he would call me the day before to set up the time. By 4 pm I had not heard from him so I called him. I had to leave a message. He calls me back and says he will have to cancel because of car trouble. The company obviously does not need the work. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Isaac from this company came out expeditiously to bid a LARGE residential fence job for 2 ½ acres of property. I was told that I would receive an estimate in a few days.
When I received an email from Isaac to read A-​1 Fence Company’s bid, I was shocked to read that the following…
(sic) I apologize for the in-​convenience but we have decided not to bid on your fencing project.
REALLY?! A fence company that doesn’t bid on fencing projects?! What the heck are they in business for? Spending time on bids to not actually give them? What a waste of my time and day to meet these fools… don’t bother with them and look elsewhere.
