A-1 Painting Concepts

We just had A-​1 Painting paint the exterior of our house. They did a great job. The guys were very nice, very professional. They patched and fixed all sorts of little cracks — some I’d gotten so used to I hardly even saw anymore. They did a great job of taking down lights and outdoor speakers and put them all back up when they were done. They were also good to our plants. The house looks great. The stucco and trim are all beautiful. We’re very pleased — and as a bonus — A-​1 was one of the less expensive quotes that we got, but they’re reputation was good so we went with them. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

A-​1 Painting Concepts is an excellent company. I have used them 3 times and each time they have done a beautiful job. They are detail oriented, clean, and quick. Great for interior as well as exterior painting jobs and their prices are reasonable as well.

I can’t say how disappointed I was with the job this company did on my house. Despite taping down paper everywhere they set up all their equipment on my bare concrete. They spattered paint on my all over my patio table, seat wall, and dripped it on my concrete. I have spent days cleaning up their carelessness but most won’t come off. They trampled ever plant in my beds and snapped branches off my trees instead of tying them back. The guy doing the power washing did such a bad job and they just painted over the dirt and cobwebs. They wanted $ 550 to replace 5 trim boards (less than $ 100 in wood) They crushed my gutters and their clean up was poor. They sprayed the front door instead of using a brush. In the end it cost me $ 3,500 for a 2 story 1600 sq house. For this quality of work that is very overpriced. Never EVER again! Do your homework, get references and use sites like Angie’s List. I wish I had.

I am SO GLAD that our realtor referred us to A-​1 Painting a few years back. We have since used them for 4 different major remodels and several smaller repair/​touch-​up jobs and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Mr. Lim is incredibly knowledgeable, super detailed and will deliver on anything he promises, without ever complaining. You hear the infamous «No Problem» from many contractors, but only very few are true to their word and Mr. Lim is certainly one of them! His daughter Gloria who handles the day-​to-​day office side of the operation is such a pleasure to deal with. Great attitude and she’ll make even the most impossible sounding requests happen for us. Their crews are extremely professional, from prep work to clean-​up. And their work is outstanding! With every remodel we have done, I keep adding more and more work for them. They have worked on acoustic ceiling removal, retexture, drywall repairs, crown molding and baseboard installation, door installation and lately I have even been using them for flooring installation. On EVERYTHING they have delivered amazing work. They might not be the cheapest in town, but their prices are very reasonable considering the quality of work they provide. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

Painted my house in 3.5 days. They were on time and worked very hard. The office contacts were pleasant and professional. Did a couple of extra tasks I requested with no complaints. Clean up was a little sloppy which I did not notice till they had left.

They painted my house in 2 days and did a terrific job. I had the wood replaced and the trim of my house painted and also had some stucco repaired. If anyone I knew who needed any painting done on their house I would highly recommend them.
