My friends play for ABA. Some refs are friends with the opposing team so some calls arent fair, but overall I love it!

Terrible refs, Terrible gym, Unprofessional scorekeepers, Stupid way standings are organized… Only good things are that there are alot of teams, and an indoor organized bball league where every game is played at the same location.

The ABA is held at the American Sports Center in Anaheim. This was the first organized ball i’ve played. It was a learning experience haha. The center was very nice, it had a potential of upto 16 basketball courts at a time, but still it was pretty packed. As for the actual way things run, everything seemed to run smoothly. Only thing that kinda got me was that a good amount of the score/stat trackers didn’t even care half the time. I made a 3 and they gave it to my friend(Richard N.). They were talkin to their friends half the time. Whatsup wit that! Also, some refs were cool and on top of things but some refs also seemed to not know what the hell they were doing. One of the referees was the owner and i guess it was widely known by all the players that he’s in his own world when he has the whistle. So many fouls as if every player was a D-Wade. Guy’s just on an ego trip. Oh another thing. They are pretty lenient on the height cap(6 ft 2) and the 1 – 2 non asians cap. Other than that, everything was run well. If you wanna grab a team together though be prepared to drop some cash. For a team of about 8 players each guy dropped upwards bout 90 beans. R.I.P. MJ
