It’s true what they say about Unilocal reviews: the people who write them either really dislike a place or really like it. As far as Canyon Plaza Cleaners goes, I am firmly in the«really like» camp. The couple who operate it are unfailingly pleasant to deal with and deliver what is asked for at what I feel is a fair price. The reviewers who complain about unexpected costs could buy a clue and ask in advance what the fee will be. It’s not rocket science, people. My suggestion is to give them a try and not be dissuaded by the bellyachers. I think you will be pleased with Canyon Plaza Cleaners.

Absolute horrible customer service! Never in my life have I been treated so poorly. I went in to have two pairs of pants thinned out as they were too bagy. When I returned I was hit with a 61 dollar bill. I figured if that’s what it costs I can live with it. But once I tried them on they were extremely tight. Waaay tighter than what they have measured during my initial visit. I went back and after 20 minutes of arguing, they finally said they would fix them, for and ADDITIONAL10 dollars a pair! So now I’d be out 80 dollars for pants that are most likely ruined! The Asian male and female exploded when I said I shouldn’t have to pay for their mistake. We had another 20 minute back and forth and they absolutely refused to fix their mistake. Stay far away from this place folks. If ur in the same area, try Tonys tailoring. Tony is nice and respectable.

Dropped off 2 pairs of slacks. They did a great job of dry cleaning them. However, on one pair the hem was coming loose on one leg. Without asking, they re-hemmed that pair. They did a professional job and the result was outstanding. What really irked me is that they charged me $ 8 for the hem. Considering that getting both pairs of slacks dry cleaned was only $ 9 and my wife could have hemmed the pants in 5 minutes for free, it cost me $ 17 to have 2 pairs of slacks dry cleaned! Will I ever go there again? NO. It’s not like they are the only cleaners around that area.

Okay, I liked this place until I went in again to get my dress fitted. They would do fast service to hem my pants before my interview season. However, they worked on my dress and when I went back to get it, they tried to prevent me from trying it on. However, I did get to try it on, and when it didn’t fit they just reacted by looking very unhappy and had an attitude. It was my go-to place until this incident.

I don’t usually take stuff to the dry cleaners, but the tailor was closed for a week so I dropped off two pairs of jeans to patch some holes. The guy told me they would be ready on Tuesday and when I went back NOTHING had been done. I told him I didn’t want to wait and I didn’t want to come back because trying to drive to this location during rush hour traffic is a nightmare. If he would have called me and told me they weren’t ready yet I wouldn’t have been so upset after wasting time trying to get there after work.
