Unfortunately this store is now closed! Hate to see another record store close :)

Such a gem of a store! Records and shop is so well organized and clean! Love that they moved up to the front unit with The Makery! While one listens and shops vinyl, the other can take a class! Can’t wait for the next Record Store Day!

This is one of those great record stores that has a little of everything, probably enough of what you want, and an owner that knows his stuff and is fun to talk to. Love this place — it’s always my first stop when looking for stuff. Prices are very reasonable and the ambiance is awesome. It’s a little tough to find because it’s off the street back inside the strip mall(which is not anything to get excited about), but back in the«Community» area where it’s located there are lots of great shops.

Hidden deep inside the catacombs of a random strip on Brookhurst st in Anaheim, you’ll find a small record store by the name of Ceremony. If you’re from the area you know that cool stuff like record stores are virtually non existent. Well, here’s the answer to local music lovers. The shop has a little of everything as far as genres. The place isn’t very big so he usually only keeps around gems. Their’s also really cool music novelties. The owner is really knowledgable and welcoming. Stop by and check it out.

So I’m new to vinyl and wanted to find a good record store around my house. Found this place online, but I tell you, it’s kinda hard to find. It’s embedded in the center of a grimey strip mall that’s mostly populated by failed businesses and the apex of dive bars. I walk under a red brick archway with a sign above that says«Community». I immediately notice the store to the left is a vintage appliance and furniture store. I thought it was nifty and kept walking. After passing 4 shops, 2 on each side, I realize I’ve stepped into what I’d like to refer to as «hipster Narnia». The place is wonderful and I felt amazed about what an awesome little collection of shops I found. It’s like a bubble of coolness surrounded by gross nastiness. There was a crafting work shop, the appliance store, and this record store. It’s a very very very small record store. The store is basically the size of a generic small bedroom. One rack of LPs to the side, some 7“s on a shelf to the left of the door, and a stack of brand new Crosley record players on a table first in front of the door when you walk in. Against the back wall is a counter where a man is typing on his Mac. He was extremely nice and very helpful. I told him I was thinking of getting a Crosley Spinerette as my first record player, but I was interested in the Cruiser due to how cheap it is. He answered all the questions I had and was very polite. Also, he knows his stuff. As for the selection, it is what it is. It’s a very small selection of records, yet what can one expect from such a small store. Shopping there isn’t necessarily like going to a record store and already knowing what you want. It’s more like looking at your buddies vinyl collection and asking if you can buy a couple that you liked. Although, the genres spanned lots of eras and musical tastes. It was basically lots of old disco albums, some classic rock and 80s punk, and a few brand new modern indie LPs sprinkled through the selection. I’d say stop by this store if you’re just looking to kill some time and browse some records, or give a holler and ask if he has anything nice and rare because he told me he sold an original pressing of The Lonesome Crowded West to a guy last week for $ 300. Don’t be surprised if you walk out without getting anything, and the owner won’t hate you for it. Overall, nice little store, small selection, more of a novelty than a legitimate record store, but still very fun to visit.

Great little record store. Though the space is small, they make the most of what they have. You’ll find a great mix of musical genres and styles. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. He takes care in curating the store and is more than happy to assist in finding just what you’re looking for.
