Creative Identity

Creative Identity, performing and visual arts program for adults with varying abilities in Anaheim has been a wonderful gift to our community. George, Cynthia and team members make sure all clients have an opportunity to learn in a supporting environment. As most of us have come to realize, day programs can easily become a babysitting site, but this is absolutely not true for Creative Identity. At Creative Identity, students use right brain learning to explore the arts. Not only are these products for sale, but each and every piece is shared with the artist, so they’re are earning and well as learning. I cannot put into words how important this program was to my brother, Steve. I urge everyone to take a look and become active supporters.

Humbled beyond belief! Have a lot of Unilocaling to catch up to & what better way to kick off my rave faves than w/​astonishingly wonderful good-​hearted-​giving collective such as this!
For Easter Weekend (which I don’t personally observe except for the fun bunnies & egg hunt stuff) & after my Orangewood Children’s Home visit, (
) found my way to Creative Identity, my 1^st time for their 3^rd Annual Pancake Breakfast Music & Art Gallery Gala.
What got me there:
…which I posted on several Meetup Groups as an idea. Though it never launched into an official event for the online community, on my own I was joyously surprised to discover the thriving talents among our under-​recognized developmentally challenged segment.
Sadly I arrived late, missing the musical performance. Luckily though, everyone was extremely welcoming, engaging, & inviting me to stay for a yummy breakfast of fresh stacks, plenty of sausage links, juice, fruits & more. While enjoying the super filling morning meal, my soul was literally fulfilled & uplifted by the group’s stage murals & other displays of artistic genius. Even met a few while chatting among these gifted angels who really took me under their fold.
But no folding up on them! Plan to return for their other upcoming benefit shows soon to be posted this summer. Truly excited & elated that such a haven of happy hearts exist in a time & place where many of us may feel helpless or hopeless. Go here, lend a hand even, & there’s virtually nothing to complain about in our own meager lives – I assure you! ;-)
