Del Taco

Ordered a del beef burrito and found something inside that wasn’t ground beef. Rubber tube?

I just moved here from l. a and it seems like Del taco is in every corner in oc it’s great option for a quick and for the most part in comparison to other fast food joints it pretty healthy choice I love the veggie burrito and bean and cheese burrito, enjoy !

I am so sick of Del taco not getting a simple order right. I simply as for NO WHITE SAUCE in my «bold» tacos. The guy even confirmed «so you basically just want fries in the tacos» and I said yes.
And what do you know, I have a shit ton of white sauce in the tacos. How hard is it to do one simple job that a computer can do for you?
This has happened way too often and I’m pissed.

Probably one of the slowest Del Tacos Ever. I understand the lunch rush some fast food places encounter so 5 – 10 minutes of wait can be common. But 25 – 30 minutes for a bean and cheese burrito??? Never ever heard of such thing. Till now.

I had not eaten anything all day Friday, on the way home from driving my drunk friend home I stopped to grab some food before heading home myself. I have never been to this location, but since I usually can never go wrong with del taco, I drove through. Around 3:00 am I got lots of attitude from the girl working and the food took a little longer to get. It came out super hot in the bag, but when I was eating the French fries I could tell they weren’t cooked… I even turned on my light almost to inspect them to make sure there wasn’t anything nasty going on in the box. I was so hungry from not eating all day I didn’t even think that I shouldn’t finish them. When I woke up the next morning it felt like my stomach had been beaten by knives! I took some pepto and went to work and luckily made it through my shift. I mostly just sat at the back desk which is not part of my job. I had no appetite and felt like getting sick several times. When I got home from work I instantly started getting sick all of the stuff I had eaten that night. I started feeling a little better and tried to drink water, but I couldn’t keep anything down. I ended up in the emergency room Sunday night because I was becoming too dehydrated and in so much pain still. I read the reviews of this establishment a few minutes ago, and I’m astonished that this place is still open. It seems like several people have not only gotten rude service, but several people have actually gotten as sick as I was. This place has completely changed my mind about this food, I can’t even think about eating here without feeling pain and sick. I will be making my own tacos from now on, at least I know how to cook food properly… And I’m not even in the restaurant business. I wanted to be sure to share how I got food poisoning from this establishment and I’m not the only one. But this company has made no efforts to fix it. Save yourself a hefty doctor bill, or let alone the pain I went through. Go home and make your own quesadillas!

I wish I could give ZERO starts. This place is a joke. they messed up my burrito, I went inside to have it fixed, waited about 5 minutes to be helped. They took the messed up order, threw it away and made me a burrito half the size as the one before. Never coming back here again !!

This is one of the better del tacos in OC, I eat here sometimes while my cars getting cleaned

Worse service I’ve had!
Going through drive thru and ordered a Chicken Veggie bowl and end up with a burrito.
He takes it back and gives me a bowl with only chicken, beans and rice. WTH!
I ask him where are the veggies, in the «Chicken Veggie bowl» and they tell me they don’t serve the veggies anymore, they were discontinued and that’s why they put a small sticker on the menu (so small I must have missed it)… Why not just take it off the menu or tell me when I ordered it???
Oh ya, they did offer to put tomatoes on it, I guess as a substitute for veggies…
If you don’t serve it, don’t advertise it!

Typical Dell taco. They have free WiFi. The food was cheap and fast. Nothing unexpected. Just don’t eat here too much unless you like having diarrhea.

Hey d*ckhead, I asked for sour cream in my burrito, you charged me for it, I asked you if you’re sure they put the sour cream in there when you gave me my food, and you said they did. What I want to know, is how the f**k that sour cream disappeared from the time you handed it to me until about 3 minutes later when I ate it.

Review for the drive thru only. This one is always A-​OK for me. They always get my order correct, ask if I want sauce, and the food tastes as it should. What else can I say? Solid.

Just order and eat new chicken bowl. Get back in line to Oder cookies… I get a funny look and the lady cuts off soda machine… I made 2 purchases. That’s how she thanks me.

What do I love about this Del Taco?
That it used to be a Naugles. And that it’s now a Del Taco. And that I used to ride my bike over a big hill that no longer exists to get there.

Where should I start? The tortillas here were burned and stale. The pico de gallo was not fresh and my fish tacos were so messy and the juice from the pico de gallo was running down my arms. I’m so disappointed. If you’re in the area just go to the Del Taco on Katella Ave right off the 5 freeway. It’s much better.

Love del taco. Best place to get cheap food that’s consistent. $ 5 goes a long way. They also hook it up, nothing is ever pinner or missing good. Friendly staff on top of that. Scorcho please.

This is the worst del taco ever.
The only reason I go to Del Taco is for their green sauce. I asked for a large side when I ordered. When I got it it was quite obvious that it had turned. It looked bad, smelled bad and tasted bad. I took it to the counter and told them. They said thank you but didn’t offer more. A few mins later (enough time to get more out of the back if needed), I asked for more. They scrambled but got me more that looked ok. But it was freezing cold. And since my food was cold by now I no longer wanted any of it.
When I got my drink I noticed that the iced tea was almost out, so I told them. They didn’t have more out by the time me and my (very slow) kids ate so I couldn’t refill my drink before I left. Annoying on this very hot day.
And this place was a DISASTER. Trash everywhere, everything almost empty. If the front is this bad (and they serve bad food) I wonder how dirty the back is. Gross. I won’t be going here again.

This is the worst Del Taco I have ever been to. We waited in line at the drive thru for 10 minutes just to be told to wait for a second before he took our order… it was just a second, it was another 5 minutes… Once we placed our order the cashier couldn’t get our order correctly. Then we proceeded to wait in line for another 10 minutes before we received our order. Kinda sad that I have to give such a bad rep to a fast food place that I really enjoy eating at. First and last time that I will ever come to THIS Del Taco.

Love this del taco. It’s close enough to my work so I can walk during my lunch so I don’t feel like a complete fat afterward, it’s fast, and it’s decent for fast food.
My only complaint is sometimes their taco shells are stale but what do you expect for $ 1?!

Stopped by this Del Taco today for lunch. Well actually I didn’t stop, I went through their drive through.
They were quick, friendly and got the order right.
The food tasted pretty good to.

It’s a Del Taco…
Nothing special, but nothing bad either– the food tastes like Del Taco food. It’s right down the street from my apartment and is a quick stop on my way home or a good late night snack… macho cherry coke (nothing says macho like a cherry coke) and an order of fries… a very nice and unhealthy way to end an evening.
The staff is either friendly or, at worst, not rude. The drive through is quick and most importantly, they have never messed up my order. It does the job.
