I have only good things to say about this place
I am just a hobbyist but I took Rebecca’s painting class because she has really nice work and she truly focuses on teaching students and helping them grow artistically. Her students seem very talented as well.
Rebecca is straightforward, down to earth, and very good at explaining techniques and how to improve them. For example, she explained why I should start painting with dark colors before light colors because the white paint has actual physical properties (I believe titanium dioxide) that makes the white color hard to control of once you put it on the canvas. This is also why digital painting is easier than traditional painting, among other things.
She seems to truly enjoy teaching and working with students, and I can tell she has a lot of experience passing on her knowledge. I definitely recommend this place for anyone — artists in school, artists outside of school, students preparing their portfolios, and just people who want to learn to draw.

I have been taking Rebecca’s classes since August 2014 and she is amazing! I work so I don’t have much time to practice, but my skills have improved a lot anyway and it’s all thanks to Rebecca!
The environment is really nice and fun and there are a lot of talented students in class! Really inspiring and makes you want to do better!!!

I had prof. Rebecca Kimmel at Otis college of Art and design 2 years ago and absolutely loved her teaching methods. That summer I took a class with her at Korpus and it was one of the best summer experiences I had that year! I am a professional tattoo artist and everything she taught me I was able to directly use in my everyday practice. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to really hone their abilities and take their art to the next level, to take a class taught by Rebecca at Korpus!
