I like supporting small local businesses but can not speak great things about this place. I came in to pick up some pastries and got less than that we walked in and the person who I think is the owner is just looking at us not even a welcome or anything. So we looked around and noticed they were out of a lot of the sweet breads when another customer walks in and the owner kindly greets them right away and I’m thinking WTF! are we just painted here. We looked around a final time and just walked out for poor service and lacking inventory I will avoid this place in the future there are plenty of Mexican bakeries willing to accept my money somewhere else.

Long Beach, CA
Freshly bake Mexican Sweet bread of all types and Bollios await at La Colmena! The service is outstanding! And during the Holidays Freshly made Tamales and «Rosca De Reyes» (Mexican Style King Cake). I highly recommend this bakery to alll
