OMG! This place is so Goooooood! Not too pricey, clean, friendly staff. I wanted to order everything because it all looked so good. I got the Lomo, husband got the Jalea de Mariscos, daughters had tallerin Verde, bistek. We ordered ceviche as an app. Sooooooo delish. Please open one in the east bay(Bay Area)! We have Peruvian restaurants but way too pricey and not as good. Whenever we come back here we will definitely be paying this place a visit. Portions are great too!

I really like the Lomo Saltado, but I do feel like they are understaffed in the kitchen and food does take sometime to come out. my recommendation would be not to go if your in a hurry or order before going.

Great customer service. All the times we’ve gone we’ve been helped by the owner. The food tastes great! Prices are a bit high but the portions are huge so it makes up for it!

Great food! I always get the large plate because the food so good I need more than regular size! I like all the tosdados! They are always busy so calling to order maybe ignored sometimes, but keep trying until they answer !

Super bomb lomo probably the best in the area. When you walk in it seems to be deceiving. I thought you needed to order from the counter but it’s full service. Most def coming here again. Its a lil pricy but worth it.

Well we came to eat here but I never got my food. That is why I would give no stars. My wife ordered a pollo saltado and I ordered a lomo saltado. Her plate came and mine was not to be found. After waiting over 10 minutes after my wife received her food I just decided not to even keep waiting for my dish. I just picked off her plate and left. Food was average at best. Not that I’m saying we should be entitled to free items but you would think to make up for their mistake they would of not charged for my wife’s plate or at least the inka kola but we still paid. They took the plate off I never got and said«our bad» First and last time we will be coming here.

Had lomo saltado jr. for $ 9.75 lunch special. Food was good and service was good. Only reason i am giving 4 stars is for the price. Regular lomo saltado costs over $ 15 and the jr. $ 11.50 But overall food quality is good. I will come back for lunch.

Just moved to the OC a few months ago and needed a peruvian fix. This place had good reviews so i drove across town to check out this location. I will give u some highlights of my visit. * Food tasted good. the Aji sauce was freshly made. This is the best Aji I have ever tasted from a Peruvian restaurant. * While I was waiting for my to go order, I was given the cilantro soup. I got a basket of the toasted bread as well. It was very good. * I ordered lomo saltado and yucca. Both good. The yucca came with I will describe as a thick, buttery mayonnaise sauce? Tasted okay. * When my order was ready, she gave me my food and before I got to my car I realized that she had forgotten to put in my yucca. I walked back in and told her I forgot but she acted like she didn’t care that I didn’t have it. I had the feeling that she didn’t put it there on purpose. Not saying that was her intention, that was just the vibe I got. * Food was a little pricey for what u get(in my opinion). I’ve gotten more food for less in other locations. And the food quality was pretty much the same. In the end, not sure if I will return. The food wasn’t bad, but after the whole«kinda upset you came back for your yucca» attitude and the price, it will be awhile if I do.

I always crave Peruvian food every so often and when that happens, I have to have it! This time it was on a Friday evening and I was especially hungry. Environment — The restaurant itself is basically a fast-food joint slash sit-down restaurant. Thus, it is not as «restaurant-friendly» as I would have liked. However, it does seem like they keep it as clean as possible. As you walk in through the front door, there’s the counter were you can order take out but also the counter where they’ll ask you if you want to dine in or now. Service — The owner, I believe is an Asian man, was very nice and attentive. They have very good service here. They were able to re-fill my bread and sauce when we were running low. Food — — Pollo Saltado — I got the regular size and it was plenty of food for me to eat. I thought there was nothing wrong with the dish and in fact, it was on the cheaper side so I did not feel guilty by not finishing it and taking it home. _Lomo Saltado — when compared to the pollo saltado, this was a couple of bucks more expensive. The meat itself was grilled nicely but I wish there was a bit more. I think the price difference was substantial so I only got the junior size. — Aguadito — this green chicken soup comes with each meal entrée you purchase. I’ve personally have never had this before but I thought that if it was the same color as the green sauce, then I was all game for it. The aguadito that day for me was way too salty, nothing spectacular and outstanding. I thought that the potatoes inside were too chopped that it was basically falling apart. I think I had some chicken fat floating around in the soup as well. Overall, I was kind of intimidated to eat it. I didn’t finish it. I wouldn’t come here and dine-in only because I did not really like the overall environment. However, I wouldn’t hesitate to take the food to-go.

This restaurant is formally Nory’s. Came in this p.m. with my crew, famished, after a long day @ Disney CA Adventure. I absolutely loved Nory’s and was bummed when I heard that the owners had switched to someone else. I try to make it to L.A. once a year. After reading YR I decided to give them a chance and prove to me that the taste has not changed. Boy did they blow me away! Ordered the Saltado, camorones plate and grilled chicken with plaintains and salad. So good! And the prices are very affordable. If your in the area, tired of the overpriced corporate restsurants and looking for great food, give them a try you wont be dissapointed.

Such a great place! Love there food! I had the Saltado De Pollo and it was delicious. They serve food with a bread and butter, soup and a drink at a very good price! Must try this place if you are around. Not to far from DisneyLand. I’m from Torrance and came to try this. Amazing!

What a shame. This location once was home to some of the best tasting food. Now I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. Okay maybe that last sentence was an exaggeration but honestly I would recommend driving a little father and get some real food.

Nory’s please come back. This place replace the previous Peruvian restaurant which was authentic, flavorful and delicious. We ordered the lomo saltado and papas a la huancaina. The beef in the lomo saltado plate was dry and flavorless, fries were cold and had no sauce. The papas were flavorless as well. FYI they charge for your side of bread, which most places include it for free. Let’s just say two of us out three got sick in the office. I recommend you try another Peruvian place and drive past this one.

Food is ok, service is very slow. I had to wait for the waitres to finish her conversation with some person before she gets my order. I had to wait some more to get it because she kept talking with the same person. The waitress was microwaving the bread before serving them, which I didn’t appreciate it. Prices are expensive for what is served, very small portions for high prices. Food is ok no that great. Rocoto is still my favorite for Peruvian food.

once upon a time there was a restaurant here… at the beginning they were really good(over 18 years ago) late they started to get used to the idea that they were«DABOMB»… so they started to lower the quality and started to raise the prices(beautiful combination to self destruction) ,. so history proved that that’s the classic way for business to go down…(so they did) now this so called«Peruvian Place» opened,. smart enough to use the same location where another Peruvian restaurant once stood(failed by the way)… and seems that they are going to follow the same path… as I read on one reviews… «if you are not Peruvian, everything is good»… this proverb actually says it all… Summarizing, over priced, dull food, … and the kicker… no Pollo, I mean if you are going to dare get the name«LAPOLLADA» … at least base your menu on that… not only because our best friend Laura«la amiga del pueblo»… got all the Peruvians as salchipaperos, and pollo freaks on that beloved tv show… but because you sell POLLO… real pollo… hope whoever own this place takes any of these constructive opinions, and maybe use them … not only the good reviews create a good business… but also the bad ones, they point flaws .that can help to develop success…

This is an intimate Peruvian restaurant with tasty food! I tried the chicken special. It comes with a chicken pea soup, bread, salad, rice, Peruvian potatoes in a cheese sauce and of course chicken! Everything was so tasty, but the chicken was my favorite. Well cooked with lots of flavor. I tried chicha morada, which is purple flavored tea that has a small cinnamon taste. Very good too! To end the meal we got alfajor which is a nutty short bread cookie with dulce de leche. Amazing! The service was friendly, and the price is cheap for what we got. Check this place out

This place is AWESOME!!! Stumble upon this place after trying to find the Vietnamese/Mexican restuarant situated in the same plaza(which is apparently closed). The food is cooked fresh and nicely flavored. The oven roasted chicken with the cilantro dipping sauce is BOMB!!! Service is fast. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The $ 6.99 grilled chicken special is a deal, considering most appetizers and entrees average $ 9 – 15. I guess this is their opening special and it sure worked on me! It comes with soup and bread. I love soups and this one was a pretty good, hearty greenish soup with chunks of chicken and rice. Very homey, like chicken noodle soup Peruvian style but way better. The entrée took a little longer but you can tell the chicken was freshly grilled. Seasoning wasn’t anything special but the chicken breast had a good moisture, not dry. It came with a simple salad and yummy white rice seasoned with some oil and salt. Papa a la huancaina was ok, not the best nor the worst I’ve had. Server was attentive although there was only one. I’d definitely go back and try other dishes. Unilocal 100 Challenge! 2015: 14⁄100

Been here twice in the past month for lunch. I’d give it 3.5 stars – and I feel bad because the manager is very nice but the food was good the first time and so-so the second time. I ordered the beef lomo saltado both times but it was better the first time around. If you get the«especial»(which I did) it’s $ 9.50, otherwise it’s $ 13.50(guessing it’s bigger portions). Everything else is between $ 8.50-$ 9.50(the especiales anyway) but non-especiales go for about $ 13 – 15(!). I don’t know yet if it’s worth it. My first lomo was very juicy, flavorful, aromatic, and just plain amazing. The fries that came with it were crispy and hot. The chicken and rice soup you get in the beginning was tasty. The second time I went there for lunch some of the fries were cold, the red onions were limp, and the flavor was lacking. The aji sauce was pretty damn good though – spicier than before. Plenty of free parking. Located next to Northgate Market/across from Panda Express/Chipotle. I’m going to give it another shot and then we’ll see. I’m really hoping it’s as amazing as the first time I tried it. They close early on Fridays, probably other days too, 8:15pm.

If you are not Peruvian, you must think everything is good in this place. There some plates that are ok, never order papa a la huancaina, that was very bad and that not a way to make that dish. I hope they can improve more and cook with Peruvian spices. Porque Los platos limeños suelen ser malos. La papa a la huancaina es horrible. Lo bars to sale Caro.

Wow! What a surprise! The food is absolutely delicious. They start you off with soup and bread. This soup can heal all kinds of flus and heart breaks! Feels like something your mom would feed you when you are feeling down. Now let’s talk about the green sauce that they serve with their food… I asked for 3 more. It’s spicy, fresh, and freaking party in your mouth. I would solely come back here just to eat their bread and this green sauce. On to the main course… I got Saltado De Pollo(chicken), and my friend got Lomo Saltado(beef). My chicken was cooked PERFECTLY, and the fries were crunchy. Even the Lomo was freshly prepared. Over all, we will be coming here once a week for lunch. With prices between 8 – 10 bucks… Why wouldn’t we? Look for pics.
