Havent had a Lees Sanwich in years. Decided to try it again since its close to my work. I came in an hour before closing and ordered a pork roll sanwich. Took a bite and man was the bread hard as a rock. This bread has obviously been sitting outside for at least over 24 hours. It took them 2 min to give me this sandwich since I ordered, which got me thinking. Only thing I could think of was, they pre make their sandwiches and keep the old ones, no matter how stale it gets. 3 star because the inside was at least good enough to eat. But seriously… no exaggeration, my bread was super hard…

Unilocal challenge 2015329⁄365 Just your basic Lee Sandwiches. Housed at the corner of Lincoln and Beach in a tiny strip mall. It is the Lees I always forget abouy. Specializing in sandwiches, mainly Bahn Mi and Crossiants. Everything is self explanatory, order by number at the counter, pay and wait. This Lee’s is one of the smaller locations. A few tables inside to enjoy your food. 3 stars because there are other Banh Mi places I like more.

Lees sandwich was one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite to eat. On my most recent visit I noticed the prices all around had gone up a great deal. It used to cost 2.39 for a bbq park sandwich. Now the price is 3.89! Yikes! Quite the price jump. The deli sandwiches are even more…5.99 each. It’s safe to say lees sandwiches are no longer the great little find it used to be. The sandwiches still taste great. Wonderfully fresh bread and all. Looks like I’ll be on the search for another Vietnamese sandwich shop serving my favorite bbq pork sandwich. Too bad.

I really like the number 4. The bagets are very good. The iced coffee is awesome. The price you pay for a sandwich here is very affordable. The freshness of the food cannot be compared. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is leary about coming here. You will love this place after you try it. I try to come and eat here as much as possible. I am so glad my fiancé introduced me to this place.

The couple of times that I’ve been here the lady presumably the owner is very standoffish and has a major attitude. The portion of the meat isn’t much but other than that it’s a decent sandwich. I’ll definite look for a different lee’s next time I’m craving one.

I was obsessed with their ice coffee but I’m just tired of taking two or 3 drinks and it’s empty they pack it with ice and I’m paying 5 dollars for ice not coffee so I’ll miss it but I rather keep my money food is ok

Love their freshly baked breads. They do charge $ 1.25 for each when every other Lees charge $ 1.00.

I was about to order my sandwich then I hear the guy behind the counter telling the girl«you have a small brain» and continues to degrade her. I stopped coming here a year ago because I heard him degrading the other woman who work there as well. I thought I’d give it another chance.

I ordered the number 11 and a banana smoothie. The boba drink was good. My sandwich was a little disappointing cause it wasn’t as flavorful as other banh mi I have eaten. But it looked really presentable and tasty. Just wish it was as tasty as it looked.

I got a food poisoning from eating their roast beef with cheese croissant sandwich. It was my 1st meal of the day that I ate then within in 5 hours I started to feel uneasy Then for the next 6 days I suffered miserably puking & sitting on the toilet. I had to inform the owner happened. Why? Because I don’t want anyone to get sick like me. That’s it that’s all I want it to accomplish. But unfortunately she didn’t care much because she was too busy talking on the phone while sitting on her chair after I explained what happened then she paused from talking from her phone briefly… …Then she told me her meat gets restocked daily so it’s not from hers. Not even a simple apology. Please don’t get sick!

I can’t get enough of their bread or their #11 Special Combo. I think it’s one of the best sandwiches available from a «fast food» restaurant. Whodathunk I’d like pâté?

Another solid Lee’s location. I find myself craving Bahn Mi’s every so often, mostly when I see a Lee’s location. While not the best or most authentic, the prices are dirt cheap and when the baguette is fresh it is excellent. Sometimes I come just to get a baguette to go or some coffee. The toppings on both the breakfast sandwiches and Bahn Mi are super skimpy, don’t really like any of their meats anyways, but I sure would appreciate if they put more then a few veggies on there. The bread makes it filling and $ 3 for a solid breakfast, lunch or snack can’t really be beat.

Not the best Lee’s I’ve been to but I come here a lot as it is the closest one for me. The baguettes and sandwiches here are usually hot and fresh but the drinks are no good! It’s either lacking ice, too sweet, not cold, tastes like powder, etc… and they keep their ice cream and drinks together in the fridge. So when you open the glass door to grab a drink(which isn’t even cold btw), you’ll see the sticky melted ice cream packets on the shelf below. So smart. The place is very small with very few clean tables and your view is the tweakers who hang around 7 – 11. So if you’re an Anaheim resident craving for just a sandwich, order quickly then run.

I’m keeping this short and to the point: I’ve made large orders here for 2 important situations and both times have been frustrating. I asked if specific things were possible and was told yes, but upon pick-up found that none of those things were communicated to those executing them. Also, I’ve been made to wait a very long time each time I went to pick up. It’s as if I didn’t need to call in the order days ahead. Taste of stuff is ok, but the service is absolutely horrendous. They were never apologetic about anything. Also, how do you lose your bathroom key?

Bringing a fusion of French and Vietnamese cuisine, Lee’s makes amazing baguette sandwiches and delicious drinks to please even the most complex palette. With quick and friendly service, I’d make this a daily stop on my morning commute. The owner likes to work the cashier position herself to ensure a quality experience for each customer. I highly recommend getting the Vietnamese coffee along with any of the breakfast Sandwiches. For lunch I’ll always get an avocado smoothie and bbq pork sandwich. Everything is healthy, fresh and won’t disappoint!

I love coming to lees after working out. Its a perfect, light, tasty meal where I dont feel so guilty eating. And its wayy better than eating subway miserably. Lol I always get the same thing. Grilled pork bahn mi with extra house pickled carrots/radish. I am also freakin addicted to their Ice coffees. … Fast, reliable, yummy in my tummy, afforable, amazing lees

Because there are so many vietnamese sandwiches offered in Santa Ana and where im from, i dont tend to order it. I only Get banh mi at a place by my house so when i go to lees is for their vietnamese coffee or panda waffles or the corn cakes with custard. Only Some Lees offer it so u have to do a little research. Usually the lees that have their own store front will. For those who do come here for the banh mi i will say they are pretty decent the only problem is that the bread can be hard and cut the roof of your mouth. But overall the meat and veggies are good. I prefer the bbq and combination.
