CLOSED. Bulldozed and long gone for Trader Sams Tiki Bar. All the Lost Bar employees moved to Trader Sams plus a few geriatric waitresses they hired from the Leisure World ICU.

Lost Bar is closed for remodel. Due to re-open in 2011 as another tiki bar. Can’t wait to see the update. We missed the last weekend it was open but alas it will live on in my memory as one of the best parts of our Thanksgiving holidays at the parks. Look forward to seeing the new dress you get.

The Lost Bar is great for a quick snack or drink. The atmosphere is resort casual and they have plenty of tvs to catch a sports game. They also have heaters outside to keep you warm. Drinks here are pricey but you are at a bar on Disney property. Other than the prices of drinks, this place rocks. Worth going to if you need a late night topper. Open until 1:30am usually.

Well I guess this past weekend was the final weekend for the Lost Bar. That entire area of Disneyland Hotel is being torn down. At least Lost Bar and Hook’s Pointe will be replaced by a Tahitian themed restaurant and bar. The remote control boats, gift shop, and arcade are becoming a new pool and the waterfalls and koi pond is becoming a grassy field. This was always a good place to go when every place else in Downtown Disney was busy. They had TVs to watch games. I’ve ended up here plenty of times when ESPN Zone got too crowded. Food and drinks were a little pricey, but to be expected for the area. Service was usually friendly. Drinks were good, but inconsistent. Some of the bartenders mixed very well, while others made horrible drinks.

I’m not gonna be one of those people that complains about kids, tourists, or OC people in an OC tourist destination. That’s just silly. What I will say is that my OC hubby, kids, & I had a great time chilling & having a drink before we headed into the park. Us adults had the drinks not the kids :0 The kids hung out by the boats & we sipped mojitos while watching the Angel/Ranger game they gladly put on for us. The nachos were pretty good a bit pricey for drinks but most drinks are so I’m not gonna bitch. What I am gonna bitch about is them knocking the place down. Yeah, the Lost Bar will now be the demolished bar :(The Lost Bar will truly be the lost bar. I’m sorry for all those that will not get a chance to experience it.

This is a pretty low-key bar in Downtown Disney. It is «lost» in some sense because it is pretty hidden. I went on a Wednesday. I didn’t dig the plastic cups. The mojitos a little bit weak. Atmosphere? There’s an outdoor/indoor part. You can actually smoke on the bar. The place feels«islandy.» The drinks are a little bit overpriced. They don’t validate parking.

The Nachos at this place are one of the best nachos. Why? You can have a choice of ground beef or chicken(get ground beef) with that melted nacho cheese drenched all over cripsy, layered, fresh chips, sour cream, guacamole, salsa — You cant get better. Nice ambiance and good drinks too.

If you’re planning on venturing over to the Lost Bar for drinks and snacks you’d better do it soon. Bartender guy told us that it’s slated for demolition sometime in August. So last night hubby and I hit this joint for two reasons… had to wait for someone to get off the LAX shuttle(it stops first at the Disneyland Hotel) and secondly because drinks ALWAYS sound like a good idea… So I Unilocaled bars in Anaheim and The Lost Bar came up. How convenient. Overall good service, strong drinks as aforementioned in many, many reviews and a nice little setup — there’s about 10 seats at the bar, tables inside and then a bunch of outdoor patio tables. If you know how to use a map this place is a snap to find. After reading about the nachos they were pretty much a must — order. They were indeed good — albeit very, very messy. This is the kind of nachos that are served with a fork and a huge stack of napkins! Thank god yours truly was in rare form and managed to dodge the neon orange nacho cheese stain from occurring… Going to Wolfmother at the HOB in August and will definitely check to see if this place is still around then. As a side note I just happened to read an article about renovation plans for the Disneyland Hotel. Sounds like a great idea — that place good definitely use some sprucing!

My 500th review :) Danielle B. and I ventured to the Lost Bar this evening after an epic show at the House of Blues(The New Limb’s album release show with Canvas, Blok, Mississippi Man, and Kiev). We were in the mood to experience these legendary nachos that Melissa C. speaks so highly of. While definitely overpriced($ 10 for nachos?!), they were indeed«bomb dot com» and the bartender woman gave me extra cherries in my Diet Coke :) The heat lamps provided us with warmth on this freezing April night while we dug into the deliciousness in front of us. Then we took a walk to see the waterfalls and caves which I enjoyed as a child… and I was overjoyed to discover they still exist because I thought they were removed a few years ago when the hotel was remodeled. Lost Bar, you made my night even better and I am honored to have you as my 500th review! I will end every House of Blues show dining on nachos on your patio!

Nachos are pretty darn good. Nice place to realx, chil, and get«lost». Drinks are over priced but hey you are on Disney property. Sodas are free refills. And you can get you parking validated here so 5hrs free parking.

The bar is famed by cast members and alcoholic guests alike. The sun goes down, and parents leave their sleeping kids in bed while they sneak past the neverland pool into the lost bar where they can drink it up till the early hours. Brilliant. Cast members have frequented this bar since its inception many years ago. On any night of the week your bound to find off duty CMs or old school CMs rekindling old memories over magically named martinis, margaritas and beer. The outdoor seating is spread out and quaint for a large number of people. The outdoor heaters are epic and have been known to catch bad hair on fire and straw hats, too. The drink prices are a bit on the high side, but then again this is a Disney owned bar – so what can you expect. If you want free parking, message me and I will tell you how to work that out. Or you can get your parking pass validated at the bar, which will grant you two hours of drinking fun. When your drunk, definitely throw some quarters into the jungle cruise model boats and be a skipper for 5 minutes – take it from this ex jungle cruise skipper – it’s way more accurate then our rail-guided boats. The vegan: most of the drinks are safe – just watch out for the creamy ones and don’t expect the bar tenders to know anything about veganism. Food wise – NOTHING. The fries are fried in the same fryer as the chicken strips(SICK!). So, eat before hand.

This is definitely my «E» ticket for Disneyland! I’ve never had the opportunity to hang out at Downtown Disney until my friend suggested it during a recent trip to LA. Without going into the amusement parks, we hung out here with the open windows and plenty of adults trying to detox from DL or CA. We basically got our cocktails served in plastic cups from the bar and chilled at a table. They had a limited bar menu where we ordered the chicken nachos. Nothing exciting about that. Be careful about the bathrooms because it’s far! This place was kind of hard to find but it was well worth it. Great company with good drinks. As they say, Disneyland is the Happiest Place on Earth. hbg!

What do you get when you put 5 Mexicans together that wish to celebrate one of those Mexican’s b-day @ Disneyland but love them some dranks? You get 5 Mexicans trekking all the way to The Lost Bar to get their drank on & get lost for a bit. It’s pricey, but hey, it’s part of Disneyland… what do you expect? The male bartenders were chill dudes who were OK with slipping us some free dranks here & there(the chick bartenders seemed to have sticks up their ass; what’s wrong, man? Life can’t be that bad… maybe it is, you look like your 75 yrs. old & bartending in Disneyland… aaanywho). It is what it is. This place serves it’s purpose.

Its so nice to be reunited to this place. Its been two straight weekends in a row now after work here. The shifts have been terrible but this place just makes it all feel better with a nice cold Newcastle and chicken nachos. Bartenders there are super nice and care about us servers from DTD. We are hungry, thirsty, and want to get a little buzz after work. Had their chicken nachos and saddened that they no longer take out the chips for fries. I did however try their chicken nuggets and NOMNOMNOM. Really good.

It’s 3:30 on a Friday afternoon and my face tells tales of sunstroke and exhaustion. Took the day off work to enjoy my birthday away from the office, politics, Unilocal, cat, etc. I needed a drink. And what better spot than the breezy outside bar at the Disneyland Hotel? Stopped off, had a round or two, then snuck off into the arcade and battled ghosts a la Ms. Pacman, 1983. So, recap: 1) No work. 2) After a day at D-Land, 3) Stopped off at the Disneyland Hotel bar and had a breezy drink/smoke in the warm spring sun. 4) Stumbled over to the arcade and played arcade games. Heaven? Yes.

The Lost Bar is a great place to get some drinks before going into the Disneyland or DCA park. My boyfriend and I stop by here before dodging all of the little kids inside Disneyland. We have our favorite bartender and usually go on the day he is working. I love the popcorn, the burgers at Croc’s bits and bites and the very laid back atmosphere. We’ve met some interesting and friendly people here, so don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation. One time a nice lady paid for our tab and we really appreciated that!

the memories of this bar will always be with me! back when i was 21 this was the wharf bar and it was one of the few places in the disney resort you could get drinks. i won’t go into full detail about the evening of drinking and what went down at disneyland on the people mover but, wow! ;) i’ll just tell you they have cameras so don’t get to crazy! these days i’m 35 and the prices are much higher but as far as drinks go very reasonable for what you get around here. the bartenders are very friendly and down to earth and not so cheesy with the disney attitude you get all day around the disney resort. they have some really nice big screen tvs that will keep you here watching the big games all night long. i was just here this past week for the holidays and it got chilly but the patio heaters were cranked up and felt so nice at night. unlike other bars the female situation is pretty slow unless you happen to get some mom’s taking a quick break away from the kids. and the disney resort is so full of hot mommy’s! it’s nice there open later than most places but take it easy if you have a long day in the park the next day. trust me!

The Lost Bar makes me want to spend the outrageous prices to stay at the Disneyland Hotel so I don’t have to walk my drunk arse down to S Harbor Blvd to my hotel. If you go earlier in the evening its kinda dead, but as you get closer to park closing you start to see small crowds come and go. It usually stays open until 1.30am. They have outdoor & indoor seating with heat lamps and a few seats at the tiny bar counter. The drinks are on the expensive side and prices aren’t listed, but they will tell you if you ask. In our experience the Grand Margarita was made the best of any drink on the menu and a Johnny Walker Black and Coke is a reasonable 8.50 for a Disneyland Hotel Bar. Wait staff is ok, our waitress we had twice while there gave us this older snotty guy’s Gents Jack & Coke for free cuz he didn’t want to wait on a busy Xmas Eve and they already poured it at the bar.(BTWGJ& Coke is on the menu and they will charge you $ 12.50 for that cuz they give you a «free» Coke shot glass, $ 10.50 w/o) And as Christy L. said, the nachos are to die for, seriously-just thinking about them now makes my stomach growl. Order them, 7.99, beef or chicken, and they are huge w/some fixin’s, mmm mm and gooey nacho cheese. You can also order a burger, chicken fingers, chicken sandwich and I think(forgive me the menu gets blurry after a couple of drinks) bbq sandwich. They get the food from the little counter service Croc’s Bits and Bites next to the bar. EDIT3÷6÷08− It seems the Lost Bar has gone the trend of most places of raising their prices for less goods. The good margarita is 9.50 and Johnny Walker Black on the rocks is no bigger than a small shot. Not cool Lost Bar, not cool.

In 1990 I started working at the resort and this was my first gig… a cocktail server at the then Wharf Bar now Lost Bar. It is almost always busy in the evening and really busy when conventions are in town. It is frequented by Disneyland Passholders but mostly by Downtown Disney and Disney«Castmembers.» Ask Ron to tell you one of his many jokes or his finger light trick. A great place to watch games as well as some entertainment in the evenings. During the day it is quiet but after 9pm it starts to pick up. I miss you Ron, Pat, Michelle, Claudia, LQ and Joe.
