First time coming to this place and what a waste of time! I asked Park to place 8 button on some shirts for me to attach shirt stays too. At first he was said it couldn’t be done today but a few hour later I got call which I think he said my shirts were done? Not to sure but I came in anyway. Shirts were done and buttons placed. I had asked him to match the buttons on the shirt, size more color I could careless. The buttons on the shirt are like ¼ inch buttons by 1⁄8 thick. Well he managed to find buttons of the gods that were right in diameter but ½ inch thick! Then he says that’ll be 30 dollars! We went back and forth for a minute trying to figure out if he said 13 or 30?!? He in fact said 30 for 8 buttons! Which was not mentioned anywhere previously nor was it on my little invoice paper. I found this to be outrageous considering I wasn’t even getting what I asked for! So I tell him this isn’t what I asked for, I asked for buttons this size. Then he goes on a rant about how these shirts are made special and that they can’t carry these buttons because they, points at the L/E patches on my shirt, make them special! He then brings out a bag of buttons and is like see I don’t have any like that! Looking in the bag I see a random assortment of buttons and a number of which that would have done the job better then these bottle caps he had put on. I tell him ok that’s fine you shouldn’t have out any on, I’m not paying for these though. He gets upset and starts going off in his language under his breath, bad mouthing me I’m sure and starts cutting off the buttons and then throwing the shirts on the counter towards me. These shirts were all freshly pressed and clean mind you. The fact his English is horrible is only a small part of the problem with the shop. He only accepts cash or check?!? Come on man it’s 2013! Freaking taco guys on street corners are taking cards these days. Yeah they might be stealing your info but hey at least there up to date! So I guess ill be going to a Michael’s and buying these L/E specific buttons and doing it myself like I have always done.

Haha okay so his English isn’t perfect… But why does that matter? As long as you’re friendly, able to do the job, and at a fair price… That’s definitely five star worthy and Mr Park is all of the above. My mom and I always go to Peter for anything that needs to be tailored. Jackets, dresses, tops, pants… You name it. And I’m always pleased with the result. He does an excellent job. And he has them ready in a reasonable amount of time(he even rushes items if you ask him to). Thanks, Peter for making my clothes fit nicely :) I’ll be coming back after my next shopping spree ;)

Mr. Park is a true craftsman! I took my suit for alteration and the guy helped take my measurements and promised to speed up the alteration before a business appointment I had later that week. This guy is a pro! The suit feels like it’s custom made and he gave me a call when it was ready. (Mr. Park’s English is not perfect, but he’s able to communicate what needs to done clearly and charges a fair price for excellent work) note: The previous reviewer gave a «3» solely on English skills and not work or price? If this guy was an English instructor, that would make sense but come ‘on… the guy does great work!

I took my pants to have them hemmed. Unfortunately, the owner speaks very little English. I was pretty worried that he would lose my pants(no pun). I went back in two days and he had them altered. I give this place 3 due to a huge language barrier. Maybe I send him some money for ESL school.
