I always get good service here and they always remember my boyfriend and I. It was raining and i was escorted to my car with an umbrella. That’s awesome service! They’re speedy at check out and always answer your questions at the butcher.

the clerks are friendly. However, every time I come to buy leafy greens t hey are wilted. For some reason the produce dept. can’t keep things fresh or maybe they’re on the truck for too long. Not sure. Wish it would get better.

while usually prices are lower vs. Sprouts, Albertsons now Haggen, Ralphs, Vons, i feel theres alot of «must buy x» number to get a deal. I got attitude from an elderly cashier cuz apparently I didnt«read the small print». ouch! This location is more cramped too, lots of people that jus park their carts in the middle of the aisle at an angle so no one can pass with their cart. nice. awesome. may i pass maam?

I come here pretty often and my experiences are always good. For some reason tonight my experience was exceptional I’m pretty sure every employee said hello and told me to have s good night. Way to go staters! Also can’t beat their amazing prices.

The 2 guys working the meat department on 1÷31÷15 in the morning are Jack Asses! The store in Corona forgot to give me the condiments to go with my 3 platters of sandwiches. So they called this store to have them pull something off the shelf. When I asked for Gary in the meat department, they said no Gary works back here. On my way out, Purchased what I needed, I was told Gary was the store manager. I hope saving the 5 bucks I spent on condiments was worth loosing a customer. POORCUSTOMERSERVICE

I honestly wanted to give this store four stars but, man, this parking lot SUCKS. The recycle center(which rips you off!) is positioned in the worst possible configuration for parking your car to shop in this center. Add to that the pedestrian traffic lugging their cans and bottles and you can imagine the nightmare you face before you even enter the store! The store itself is old and dated, a bit dark, etc. But their butcher shop is outstanding and their produce is the best. Their beer selection is average perhaps, technically, slightly above average. Everything else is a standard issue grocery store(from the 70s) designed for a no frills experience. I hit this place a couple times per week for odds and ends, and I use their butcher shop almost every trip. Good sales, good selection, and the butchers actually know how to trim and work their carving magic. All in all, I’d say this store rates an «A-Ok» from my Unilocal perspective.

OK, so you’ll get fair prices here — just like all Stater Bros. Here’s what I noticed on my last visit: The aisles are pretty narrow — you can barely squeeze a cart past a cart. The checkers and baggers know their stuff — and get you in and out of line ASAP. I like the produce section — they seem to always have what I’m looking for — and plenty of it. This is the closest Staters to me — but I’m willing to check out the location in Placentia, too!

The store is nice, the people are nice, but their generic brand, top care is hideous. The packaging looks just like the real thing and I bought it by mistake twice! That ticks me off. Yesterday, I bought what I thought was Robitussin cough medicine, but saw that it was top care.

The store may look. old, but they always have what I need, it’s clean, no dumb club card and the employees are always helpful.

This was one of the first Stater Brother’s we found when we first moved to the OC7 years ago and everything is still the same, in a good way ^_^ SB has a special spot in my heart since we’ve been shopping there for years, their prices are so much more reasonable than fancy stores like Ralph’s, Von’s, & Pavillions. Sure it’s dated and old school but in the end you have money left in your pockets compared to those kind of stores. The deli service was friendly and the cashier was very friendly unlike other reviews that I’ve read. She had a good attitude and wasn’t rude like certain employee’s at the Orange location –__– Overall, good prices and good service so I’m a fan! ^_^

I like going to this Stater Brothers because it is close to the house, and evertime I go there I always save money and when I save money that makes me happy. True this time it was only thirty cents but still thirty cents is thirty cents and that is the reason I will keep coming back to this Stater Brothers. Thank you Robert to you and your team.

Why am I writing a review about a grocery store??? Because this place doesn’t seem to get enough credit. Sure the exterior is a bit old and«ghetto» but the store is well managed, shelves are properly stocked and very neat. Produce is fresh. Meats are great. Butchers are helpful. I’ve never had a problem here. And it’s nice not to be a «member» to enjoy competitive prices for groceries. I actually live much closer to a Ralph’s, but choose to go here instead because I think it has better groceries all around, and again, I was really impressed at how well maintained everything was. It felt like how a grocery should feel. I walk in and I have a very good idea of where things are, and there’s no clutter. I feel like I get bombarded with clutter every time I go to the Ralph’s closer to me. Don’t be turned off by their exterior, it’s pretty nice inside. And, also for the record, check out here has been more friendly than Ralph’s most the time.

Cashiers are grouchy & unsmiling. I dread going in there. Butchers are friendly and helpful. They need to re-train those cashiers.

I only shop at this location because I live in Anaheim Hills and I don’t drive. In all honesty, I’d rather pay Vons steep prices and get better service. The cashiers are less than friendly and the baggers do NOT understand the concept of light or double bagging even though I explain every time, that I am walking. I agree that the store needs some updates but really, it’s the service that needs to be worked on before anything else. I’ll keep shopping here because it’s close but it’s time for them to train their staff on the definition of «service with a smile.»

Perhaps. Maybe, as a 911 grocery alternative, if everything else in the area has been burned to the ground. But unless I’m in the direst of shopping emergencies, I’ll avoid this individual Stater like the plague. See, folks, I’m just not a fan of rude cashiers. Case in point: During my last visit here in late October, I was hoping that the checkout lane I’d chosen — the shortest of the three lanes open at the time — would be smooth sailing. Not: The sixtysomething cashier, a man with somewhat unkempt gray hair and a gray mustache, found a way to be rude. Cashier(somewhat curtly): «How are you today?» Me(as friendly as I could be): «Really bushed. I’m finishing my 12-hour day. I worked 65 hours this week.» Cashier: «Oh, so you don’t like hard work, do you?» Y’know, with jobs still pretty darned hard to come by for folks over 50 without much education, what’s with this Ph. D giving me attitude like that? Of course, Stater’s good prices are found here. But there’s not much else: a depleted selection of produce, adult beverages and paper products. And the parking lot, cramped and badly designed, makes backing out of a parking space a terrifying experience. I shan’t return here, thanks to that a$$hat.

Ghetto Bros — get it? I hate this Stater Bros. The people that work there aren’t that nice and late at night it attracts sketchy tweakers. It’s not in a bad area, but going here in the evening, you’d think it was on MLK Jr. BLVD somewhere. There are 3 Stater Bros. all within 2 miles of each other. This is clearly the bottom of the rung. Second best is the location on Yorba Linda BLVD and the best is on Imperial and Rose. With those 2 so close by, there’s really no reason to go here. Ever. Like seriously, don’t go here. It’s small and kind of funky. The other two have been redone and are bigger. It’s not as bad as Ghetto Vons in Orange, but it’s in the same ballpark. And I’m not saying the butcher department here is bad, but the dog meat didn’t look that fresh. Avoid. 2 stars because I wasn’t robbed.

I’m not a huge Stater Bros. fan. This location feels really old to me. My husband and I actually refer to it as the«ghetto» Stater Bros. I read the other review on here, and I have to say that I have always had really good experiences with the butchers at this and the other 2 Stater Bros. locations in the area(Yorba Linda & Placentia). I think that they always have good prices and good quality meats. The butchers also always cut the whole chickens into pieces for me(even when they’re on super sales!). They are also always really nice to me. I buy almost all of my meat from Stater Bros. and have yet to have a problem. *knock on wood* Another thing that I do like about Stater Bros.: the fact that they mark their ripe avocados with little stickers, and that they always have ripe avocados in stock. There is also a recycling center in the parking lot which I believe is associated with the grocery store. You take your receipt to the checker and you can apply your balance to your grocery bill or you can get cash. Yay for recycling!
