The Flame Broiler

This place is never open everytime I come here. Showed up (12:35pm Sunday) and still closed. Charged $ 3 for parking. Drove down to Waba on Anaheim and Ball for a better meal and consistent hours.

Bowl took a while to be made and I was not impressed by the Mexican lady working at the counter. She was sat there for 3 mins on her phone while I waited at the register to be helped. She was not friendly at all. Left a bad taste in my mouth

But this flame broiler is pretty good.
You also need a key for the restroom.

I’ve been 3 times to this location and never been disappointed. I’ve enjoyed their hot and fresh food, their great and friendly service, and their clean place on each visit!!! The parking been always convenient and they always validate! You’ll never regret eating the food there especially if you order the white chicken with vegetables and brown rice. Very yummy and healthy. Mmmm

Love this location. They make your food quickly and it’s always tasty. They’re very friendly and make it very inviting. The restaurant itself is clean and tidy. They have TVs also so you can watch something while you eat.

It’s eh, not that great compared to other flame broilers I’ve been to. I got the half and half bowl, for the price they give way too little meat and the beef tasted weird, I didn’t even eat it. Will probably go to another teriyaki place next time…

I’m just sad that one of my favorite places to come raised their Unilocal check in deal from $ 5 to $ 7.50
Otherwise, their chicken bowl is something I get almost everyday! Their sauce is great too.
Unfortunately their rice to meat ratio isn’t always consistent and lately they have been trying to save their meat portions for some reason… It doesn’t even cost much for chicken especially if I’m paying almost $ 8 for rice and chicken

Paid 46 dollars for over cooked chicken it was really hard and dry. I couldn’t even eat it cause it was so hard and dry. I prefer going to the flame broiler on Anaheim blvd and ball. We even had to pay to Park to get food from flame broiler because of the building complex. It’s just really hard to get to this place to get in and out in a 30 min lunch as well.

This is by far the best Flame Broiler I have ever set foot into. The cook is so clean well kept and speedy. But may I add that the lady at the front counter has the establishment flawless. So clean every counter, table are spotless. The foods so warm the business is so clean the hospitality is flawless. I only go to this Flame Broiler and if this staff moves I’ll move with them. #epic staff !!!

As much as I enjoy Flame Broiler locations, this one in particular is not my favorite only because the parking situation is a joke. Maybe it was just the time of day who knows but the «validated parking» area was just for the apartment tenants and there was like 10 parking spaces for the businesses. Oh and the constant reminder that you’ll be towed at the surrounding parking lots. Also there offer for the chicken bowl is only for that, not the veggie chicken bowl as I over heard the customer in front of me asking which is what I was going to use. Sorry but won’t be back to this location

I love it. Tasty and Healthy — Above all, fresh and cooked to order. I never eat there, I always order to go. Don’t forget the Healthy side orders — they are not on the regular menu. Last but not least, try all their special Sauceses.
Price is not an issue as customer service is the best.

Best part of this place is that it’s always clean and its downstairs from where I live! And they usually have a check on offer!

Pretty yum teriyaki bowls, staff is very friendly, no extra charge for brown rice. :)
It’d be 4 stars if they offered mini bowls w/​meat AND veggies… hint hint. ;)
Also, if parking was a little more convenient — I’ve decided parking @ McDonalds on the corner and walking there is easier than having to get a ticket @ the Avalon parking lot, cross your fingers to find one of the few Retail parking spots open and remember to get your ticket validated. Phew! :P

Out of all the Flames broiler I’ve been to, this one is the cleanest and it taste the best.
The Chicken is nice a moist, and the short ribs are to die for at this location. All the employees here great you with a smile. Parking is very limited but worth it nonetheless. If you ever go to an Angels game this is the perfect spot to stop by before attending the game!!!

Terrible food. Rice was hard and gross. Chicken was partly undercooked and some were over cooked. Hard on the outside chewy on the inside. Waste of time and money.

i generally order the chicken and beef plate for lunch. The meat here is ok but it is a tad bit more pricey for the quality of the food. Also, parking is kinda hard or at least I couldn’t locate the parking structure. I would suggest to just park near Panda Express/​Starbucks and walk over… but by that time you might just stick with Panda Express. The folks here are nice and the food came out pretty quickly so no complaints.

What happened to this place? I called ahead to place and order and was hung up on. I called back and was asked to wait. and hung up on. and called again. and hung up on. then i finally placed my order and when I picked it up it was wrong. I didn’t feel it was worth the conversation to make it right. On a side note I’m not sure what is usually on the TV, but this time was a telenovela. It’s their decision to show what they want but its not something I’d expect. On the upside the food was good as it usually is. but I’ll try something else next time I feel like having a chicken bowl.

Love this place the guys are nice and service is fast. You can order over the pbone and food is ready in 10min. I always order take out and have no problems.

I love this FB location. It is simply the best one that I have been to. The staff grub ambiance everything about it is 10 bizillion times better than any other FB that I have been to.
The location is one that you wouldnt expect. Its in one of the commercial units under apartments next to the Big A. This makes it very convenient if you are going to grub before a game at either The Pond or the Big A.
Pro Tip: They have free parking inside the building that it is located in.
The menu is the typical same menu that you expect. However there is a Unilocal check in offer and yeah the magic sauce is their terryaki sauce but it still is super tasty. They will often substitute beef for chicken on their check in offer as well. They also accept FB coupons at this franchise location which not all of them do. That is definitely another awesome thing.
They have a TV or two showing Sports or News depending on the day. The interior is kept extremely clean. Like clean enough to eat off of looking. I seriously dont suggest trying that out though… None the less a super friendly staff adds to the greatness of this location.
At this point when I am off on lunch and want FB this is where I go.
