Valerie is a magician and dream maker behind the camera. She is artistic, talented, professional, angelic, and part baby whisperer. We have used Valerie for our baby announcement photos, maternity photos, and newborn photos. Every single time we have a photo session arranged, I go into detail of my crazy dreams and what I envision for our pictures. I bring weird props and random pictures from Pinterest for inspiration, and we laugh at my grandiose ideas. Not only does she deliver my dreams, she always exceeds it! Her talent and work just blows me away! I do want to give her a shout out for a specific photo session: Valerie was an angel and baby whisperer for our newborn pictures. She was able to get every picture so beautifully while the baby was so calm and squishy and happy. You can tell she is a natural around babies! We are so thankful for Valerie. Her work is all over our house and we can’t wait to take more pictures! Thank you Val!

Valerie is a breath of fresh air! We love having her capture our family’s memories. She makes it easy, fun, and relaxed. Valerie is the best hands down! She was great with my daughter and immediately warmed up and laughed the entire session. These are by far the greatest family pictures I have framed all over my home. I’ve found my permanent family photographer and can’t wait to book another session soon!

My husband and I stumbled across the website for Tulips and Tangerines after searching for a photographer to do some couples photos. The pictures spoke for themselves and we loved the look that Valerie creates with every photo. I contacted Valerie and she went above and beyond for a very reasonable price. Her work is amazing and we have received so many compliments. Soon after taking pictures we found out that we were having a baby girl and contacted Valerie again for newborn pictures.
