Too easy! We were in Anchorage for a brief layover — on a Sunday no less. We needed to buy some king crab, but the downtown 10th& M was closed. Luckily, the Muldoon store opened at noon. Great selection of frozen legs and claws, already tagged and priced. It was a simple matter of picking what I wanted and handing it to the shop clerk. I explained our situation — we wanted an order to go, and we were taking it on a private jet — so he put together a box, a styrofoam cooler and some bag ice to keep it all chilled for the trip home. The shipping box cost $ 20 — the crab a fair bit more!

We always take fish home from here it is sooo good. They get it all packaged for you. The AK king crab is to die for, as well as the salmon & halibut! Great place!

The in laws wanted to buy some fish to buy and ship back home and after some help from a local Unilocaler we decided to head over here to check it out. There was no one else in the store so we were helped right away. There was a wide variety of frozen fish(and lots of salmon) to choose from. The family was able to find exactly what they needed and have it shipped back home for them. Everyone was happy!

I love this place. There are 2 here in Anchorage, one on M street, at 10th,(Behind City/Downtown Saguy) and here on Muldoon. The reason I like it so much is the fish comes in FRESH. Next day from catch, and unfrozen. Don’t get me wrong, you can opt to by the frozen fish, it is really good and well packaged, but the fresh stuff, especially in the Winter time is really Great. Last night Alaskan Cod was 4.95 a pound. I know what we are having Monday Night. Shrimp is always fresh, and I can get crayfish here, and that is the best. The large Alaskan Scallops are to DIEFOR. I have included the web site and 800 number… Check them out… it is well worth it when Salmon season starts!
