For now, my review is based on an introductory visit to Alaska Retinal Consultants to continue medical treatment for my retinopathy condition in one eye. My former Georgia retina specialist located this office and referred me to them, but she could not find any descriptions about this medical practice, or its three physicians. I learned, at my first visit, that this practice is the only one of its kind in Alaska. It doesn’t post any information on a website, nor does it use any 21st Century digital media. They have no shortage of patients requiring their services. I will «see» how things go as my treatments continue. ;o)

Dr. Swanson saved my eye sight 5 years ago when I needed emergency for a retina detachment and last week Dr. Zumbro did a marvelous job of treating serious retina condition in my other eye. From the receptionist to the billing folks to the techs all are caring and efficient and you are truly in good hands with these docs.
