Love boom ba laddys! It’s not the healthiest food, but the best kind soul food(or munchies food)! They’ve got a lot of variety, lots of yummy twists to traditional burgers, sandwiches, etc. I’ve had the boom ba fries(delish) as well as the Philly cheese steak. The Philly was made with hearty bits of good quality steak, fresh peppers and onions, and the perrrfect amount of cheese. Not to mention the fries are off the hook! I’ve found the truck on dimond in the sams club parking lot and on northern lights in the Walgreens parking lot. If you see the big purple hippo food truck around Alaska, do yourself a favor and try em.

Eaten here twice and have never been disappointed. Friendly owners and home cooked food. Great.

They offer a good variety of food on the menu, my mouth was watering when I was trying to decide what to order. The food truck concept and, being that they were open at 12:30AM makes it convenient. The staff was friendly. And their prices aren’t too unreasonable. My strawberry Italian(cream) soda was delicious, but part of my whip cream on top randomly tasted like onions… anyways, I ordered the deluxe laddy’s grilled cheese sandwich– the bread itself was delicious, but one side of my sandwich was clearly over cooked(it was black). The spinach was soggy because of all the grease used to cook the sandwich. And the tomatoes tasted like an old, freezer burned ice box. That’s the best way I can describe their flavor. Needless to say, I pulled them off. I was also disappointed because they used too much salt. I’d try Boomba Laddy’s again, but I’ll definitely order something else next time! Not complaining though, slim picking for food places open at 12:30AM.

I already had lunch but when I saw a food truck with a purple hippopotamus, I decided my lunch would be a great dinner and I set out to this dirty looking food truck. There is a menu affixed to the side of the food truck by what looks to be green duck tape? In any case, I was surprised and asked myself why I stopped looking for the magical food trucks with all their quirks and character. I ordered a fried steak taco and it was YUMMY! Sliced cherry tomatoes, sour cream, saucy steak and sweet onions topped with crispy romaine lettuce. The taco shell is like a tostada taco shell! 2 for 7.00 and honestly I am ok with having had just one. Follow the food trucks!

During the Spenard Food Truck Carnival, I stumbled upon Boom Ba Laddy’s and I must say, this food truck is now my personal favorite truck. The food was/is better than the food trucks I’ve tried on the East Coast. The only gripe I have, it’s pretty pricey. Close to $ 10, but their servings are plenty, will definitely satisfy you. So I shouldn’t even be complaining haha. If you happen to stumble upon this particular food truck, it’s a must try. You will be full and satisfied.
