There are hidden gems in every city, and the trend continues with this optometrist. Never have I written a review for an eye doctor’s office before, but this is that special of a find.(And it was not easy to find, let me tell you. It’s located upstairs in sears, right above the tools section entryway. No signage, just an elevator.) It is a small office, the kind where they know you instantly, «oh, yes, you’re the one who called. I have your things right here.» The selection of frames is excellent, even for this picky gal, and had choices for EVERY budget.(They also have occasional sales like BOGO, so keep an eye out.) The star here, though, is Dr. Donaghy. He is a master listener, patient, knowshis craft expertly, and is happy to explain every step, machine, term of technical jargon, etc, if you ask. I have never felt as comfortable and unhurried in a doctor’s office as at this place. I am so glad I stumbled on this place!(It was close, answered the phone quickly, had good prices, and an opening soon.) I’ve sent two family members to Dr. Donaghy now and both are ecstatic. I’ll send more!

If you are busy don’t go here. Understaffed! Appointments are kept timely for your exam but when you come later to pick up your glasses or contacts you have to wait forever for something that only takes moments. I’ve waited as long as 20 minutes just to pick up my contacts that were already paid for. I’ve been coming her for several years and it is getting worse each year. I’m moving my business elsewhere.
